Chelsea continued their impressive start to season with another impressive display against a fighting Tottenham team. Chelsea took the lead through Cahill who came up with a good finish. Tottenham then really took the battle to Chelsea and equalized immediately after half time through Gallas. Then Defoe came up with a clinical finish to give the Spurs the lead. At this moment it looked like Spurs would go on to stun Chelsea. But then after it, the Mata show began. In quick succession Mata scored two good goals to turn the tables on Spurs. Finally, Sturridge rounded off the score by scoring the 4th goal late in the game. It was a impressive win by Chelsea and they are suddenly looking the real deal!! Cheers! Ram

I am glad see that games.Chelsea now in good performance. After win again Arsenal, they're always playing fantastic.Actually AVB already give a good fight when score 2 : 1,but after that he forgot and ignored to defence. He always attack and it was happened when he's still in Chelsea.AVB still have to learn about football strategy, better he should discuss with MOurinho.

It was built up as AVB vs. RDM. And yes AVB was a bit too personally attached. But his team came up against a superior team on the day. Cheers! Ram

AVB took that game a wee bit too personal; he probably feels the need to show his former club, and especially his former assistant, that he is capable of managing... Spurs vs Chelsea almost like AVB vs RDM...

i don`t know what`s happen with spurs.. AVB is failed to show again his squad performance like they beat against MU.. after leading 2-1, they can`t keep their performance i had told in prediction about this game, Juan Mata is really dangerous man and he prove it.. 2 goals is enough for helping chelsea in the right time.his first goal makes his team make level same, become 2-2.. and his second goals makes his team change situation and lead the game 3-2...

And to think that this player is not able to break into the Spainish National Team. That is how much of midfield talent Spain has at it's disposal. It is like the old Brazilian teams. Cheers! Ram

That is true, he was fresh. On the other hand, Spurs lost Bale. Cheers! Ram

that`s good for chelsea when juan mata is absent from spain national team..it`s good because juan mata is fresh and can play good.. and the result, chelsea can win in derby london..

hello, chelsea is really playing very well this season and they deserve to be in the top. in the last game they defeated tottenham 4-2, it was an important game and they managed to win it. it only shows their good form this season. i think they are a very strong contenders for the league title this season and manchester united and manchester city has to play really well in order to take the top spot in the points table. this year there will be a tough competition for the top spot and its going to be very interesting. lets see what happens.

Yes, the last two games where they have come back from goals behind to win the game has really shown that this year they are real title contenders. I think with Hazard and Oscar hitting the ground running and with Mata manning the midfield, they have played a very attractive game as well. Cheers! Ram

Their play up front especially after the two Tottenham goals was really fantastic. But I was not happy about their defensive performance. They were dodgy at the back. Cheers! Ram

Juan Mata scored two goals to help Chelsea to win - Juan Mata scored two goals to help Chelsea to win 4-2 away to Spurs.
It was a very entertaining game. Fast and furious. Chelsea could have been more comfortable if Torres were more decisive in taking his chances in that game. Gallas had a poor game. I feel that AVB should give a chance to Dawson to prove his worth. I am impressed with Vertonghen and Walker of their work-rate. Defoe is a top striker. He could just make things happen. Lennon was quick and tricky but it was Bale that Spurs really missed. Chelsea proved that they are a team with ability and the will to win. Juan Mata is the man of the match for me.

It is really mind-boggling that Dawson still sits out for Tottenham. I think this is where AVB's man management becomes a problem for the club. At any top club, the managers would have sorted out the issue with their top player by now, but not here as yet. With Bale missing all the running was done down one flank and that gave Chelsea some respite on the other flank. Cheers! Ram

I don't usually support Chelsea, but I enjoyed watching this game. Mata was really good. I expected more from Torres; he seems to be hesitant in at least a couple of instances during the game. Defoe played good, although Spurs might have scored more if Bale was playing. The first goal by Mata looked as if it was assisted by Gallas.

Yes, Torres has become hesitant. I remember one key moment in the game when he had the ball and had space to take the shot, but delayed it long enough for the defender to make the challenge. Defoe was looking very good and you right Spurs missed Bale more than Chelsea missed Terry at the back. Cheers! Ram

Manchester City also got lucky beating West Brom 2-1 with 10 man and a injury time goal. Guess they simply love to score last minute goal.

Manchester United has also won their match by an identical score of 4-2 against Stoke. They also came back from being a goal down to take the lead. Cheers! Ram
