Philippines is not only reach with history but its culture is also one of a kind especially in terms of festivities. On this day, October 21 is the highlights of masskara festival in Bacolod, Negros Occidental. Last night we went there with my high school friends enjoying the colorful lights and men in mascaras are dacing when the lights are on. The streets where closed and street lights and dance beats conquer the place. It was so fun. This day, there will be street dancing. It is really fun.
After a year, I got to experience it gain and it is overwhelming. hehe.. Actually, when I was in college, I hate it when Masskara is celebrated during sem breaks. I have to go home with a luggage bag, and walk to the streets because the roads are closed. It is a hassle. For four years, i've been doing that.
Anyways, Happy Masskara Bacolod!

The Masskara Festival is actually one of the festivals that me and my husband would want to witness. Sometimes I can't help but be a bit embarrassed because I am the one who's from here and yet I cannot arrange for us to be able to come during the festivals. I hope next year I can fix our schedules and be able to maximize our vacation time to see our colorful festivals.

Hi natliegleb!
Try to schedule your time and book earlier than September because hotels are usually fully booked by that time. it is really fun in masks. Bacolod knows how to party, it party harder than city people. High Class restaurants are vast with quality food especially seafoods.

Hi,
You should mean "The Philippines is not only rich with history..."not "reach" for it has a totally different meaning. Then there's "dancing" or maybe you mean "dazzling" instead of "dacing." I have a bit of trouble deciphering the meaning of your chosen words or maybe they're just plain typo errors. Keep up the good effort, you're on your way to writing good articles there.

I am really fond of festivals. I always wanted to see and enjoy festivals. Lots of programs to look forward, activities like street dancing with colorful costumes that really enjoyable to watch and nevertheless the foods that are so yummy and delicious. Streets was closes due to some activities so walking would always be the main means of transportation but I enjoy it together with friends while seeing different activities and happenings around.
