salute for the new governor of jakarta, MR Joko widodo..
he still have busy activities even in sunday..after car free day in the morning, he make meeting with Minister of Tourism and creative economics, Mrs Mariel Elka Pangestu and after that he follow PDI-P agenda..
and the meeting with Mrs Elka Pangestu is never planned by public relation of DKI Jakarta government..
it`s jokowi iniatiative..he wants to ensure several places as the creative public space in Jakarta..The function of creative public space is collecting the product selling in Jakarta
The DKI jakarta government try to build 3 places but it`s still secret about the location
in Jokowi master plan, in that creative public space, there are way for pedestrian, place for seller for selling their product..it`s good program and planning
What about you guys??
are you busy too in sunday??

Jokowi's first week at work is very impressive. He only takes a little time to take rest, he still works even in weekend because he wants to find out the real problem of Jakarta. He knows there are so many homeworks and problems in Jakarta to be fixed.
Jokowi and Ahok has shared the responsibility and works. Jokowi is focusing to visit and checking Jakarta condition to see the root of the problem in Jakarta and also visit the people to hear their aspirations. While Ahok is working in the office and checking documents and archives regarding to problems in Jakarta. So I think both Governor and Vice Governor are working side by side but in different action.
Jokowi's first week is visiting so many places, meeting with people and some important person like Elka Pangestu, etc. He doesnt need a lot guards and officers for his visits, he was only accompanied by 2 voorijder. Yes, Jokowi is hiding his meeting schedule from anyone because he doesn't want people to prepare for his visit, he doesnt want the subordinate to prepare and faking the real condition of the places to look better, he wants to see the place as it is and not a fake one just to please him.
From the first week of Jokowi-Ahok's work we can see a big difference between them and previous governor. He doesnt need a lot of guards whenever he make a visit, he also hides his "visit" schedule so he can check the real condition of Jakarta and he expects every subordinates and officers in Jakarta to work hard not because they are afraid of him, he will use Esemka car as his mobility car, and he also mingle with people without too much formality and guards around him.
There is a comment from PKS member about Jokowi agenda in visiting people, he told Jokowi not to have trip a lot. What is it he is talking about? Jokowi's trip is to see the real condition of Jakarta unlike DPR members trip who travel abroad to have fun and waste a lot of money. See, the hidden passenger is already reveal the true face of his party.

@fashion : i think it show that both of Jokowi-Ahok want to make good start in their leadership..it`s good for the jakarta citizens..i ever read in one portal news that, they come to the office 07.30 and it makes many government officer follow what they had done..it`s new spirit..it`s new change for better jakarta..like their slogan in campaign..
and like you said, no special guards when he visit from one "kampung" to another "kampung" and no special treatment because Jokowi agenda (like his admission) only he knows...
yeah, i see it too in one forum about the comment of the vice chairman of DPRD DKI Jakarta, when he say that Jokowi should reduce his "trip"...it makes many negative comments because the people said that the dpr member can`t distinguish , where is the trip for working and what is the trip for recreation..
@sishy : we can measure in his end period...seems he makes good start in his leadership..

That's right Sishy7, it is so different than previous governor and hopefully the future president will follow this. We need more humble and down to earth person to be the role model. This country has a serious problem not only because of the government but also from the people.
Yeah, that person is from PKS. Seems he forgot how DPR wasted our tax money to travel abroad and brought their families to go with them. Jokowi and Ahok have so many homeworks and problems to fix, and they start it by collecting info they need to find out the solution. It is really silly to judge Jokowi's visit as fun trip. Why dont DPRD is following what he did, checking the real condition without guards. This PKS member expecting Jokowi to fix the problem of Tanah Abang market, that is funny because this problem has happened since Foke era. Where was he when Foke was still governor? Why he didnt ask Foke when he was still governor. Jokowi has so many homeworks but everything needs step to fix it. It is not easy to fix the problems which has created since Foke or Sutiyoso era.

Look at the sample of our first man!!
What happen when He reach His 100 days leads??
Look at now!!
When one leader said about that program, people will considered all leader have the same program.
Its has been a "tolak ukur" for every leader right now.
Even He promise nothing for the first 100 days, people still judges Him with it.

yes, give him more time for proving his promise
he ever said that he never promise will do something in the first 100 days..
let the people evaluate what he had ben done for jakarta..
and everyday he works..again and again
even the journalist admit that the new governor of jakarta is unpredictable and have many activities beside the agenda in public relation of dki jakarta government

Not me, no work for me on Sundays... I take my sons wherever they need to go then relaxing at home.
The new Jakarta governor is already showing some good works, isn't he? I hope he gets the support from all of his subordinates so that we will see some improvements in Jakarta.
