It is not unusual for children to act like adults. These scenes are most commonly witnessed when children play dress up and the likes. On the other hand, when adults act childish, it is rather bizarre and often distasteful. Some adults behave immaturely mainly because of insecurities that are long hidden. I hate it when I witness someone who is older than me who acts obviously foolish and expresses their immature way of thinking through their outspoken, irrational opinion. What sorts of childish opinions have you heard from an adult lately?

I think that being insecure plays a major role for adults being immature. They think they are cute in expressing themselves that way, but really, it is annoying!

I have seen a lot of adults behaving like children, and I have to say that the people who have shocked me the most recently have been my partner's family because they are being very childish about something that happened many years ago and they have never managed to let go of it. One of the things that they should remember is the fact that life is just too short and they will regret not being nice to each other when one of them is no longer around to apologise to; but there is no talking sense into them at all.

I heard a lot of childish opinions from an adult. For example, I'm 20 and I'm student. The most of my colleagues act like a children. I believe that at my age you should have enough life experience to know what you are good at. The young people don't know what they could do with their lifes. They don't built their own path and wait for a convenience. Ok, I'm ok with that, but the majority loose their lifes with this waiting. I think I'm albe to build a strong career by my own. I think that's not a childish opinion, it's a childish mentality.
