Why movies about having Extramarital Affair popular?

I was also interested at first but then as other movies are being shown and other teleseryes are being shown with the same theme it gets boring and over rated already and I dont like it anymore

It's the current trend. Give a few months or a year and viewer's taste will change. of course, it is always a fact that movies are form of escapism. Many people would like to see what it would've like if they have a third wheel in the marriage. Having one in real life might cause them trouble.

You know why? Because its a fact. That thing really happens in our society, if not in you, then maybe to your neighbors, friends, relatives or office mates...and people are curious on what the lead character will do in order to overcome such situations in their lives....

hello toxic lifestyle actually it's just not in the movies but also on some television shows. i first watched a show with this kind of theme on TV. it is a korean show that was shown also here in tagalog. Now after that these trend seem like a virus that propagates very fast. you know if there is a trend then there is a fever.

Yes, you are right. I have also noticed that earlier. I do not know maybe because many were able to relate on those kind of movies.Issues on extramarital affairs are already widespread nowadays and I do not know why it is phenomenal already.

The general culture these days has evolved to the stage of where such relationships are "sometimes" acceptable. Movies have evolved as a result, and in turn also influence people to do the same thing they see. Then it just spreads.

Well it started with the "No Other Woman" trend where it got very popular. I guess movie producers are taking that as a good topics to make movies with. I also think that stories like that are relevant nowadays since many are into it so many can easily relate to the story they will be selling to movie goers. Plus the fact that our society is getting a bit loosened up from a very conservative one. So it is just a natural reaction to make stories/movies about it to open up the awareness of this taboo topic before.

In my opinion, this movie trend become popular due to viewers demand. These kind of movies are based on what is happening around, in real life and a lot of people can relate to it. Maybe because some of them are in same situation.

These are the realities of life that people would like to talk about. Sad to say, but people like to talk about intriguing stories- you know, people love gossips!

I truly think the reason that movies about people having extramarital affairs have become so popular, is because theses days so mamy people are having affairs while married.If someone is having an affair and they can go watch a movie where someone else is married and also having an affair this may give them the feeling that they can relate to that character.It may also help to relieve them of some of the guilty feelings that they are carrying.I am not advocating that its ok to cheat.Those are just a couple of resons of why I think those movies are currently so popular.
