I have recently become more knowledgeable about my own health than I have ever been before. I was told that unless I started exercising and eating well the I was never going to be able to live for the amount of time that I would really like to. So, this made me think about the things that you should try to do now in order to give yourself the best possible chance of good health in your old age. The things that I have thought about are:
-Exercise regularly to improve your blood flow, fat burning and mental health (as exercising releases endorphins).
-Eat a healthy diet to keep fat levels to a minimum and be alert.
-Drink plenty of water for healthy skin and to improve your overall health.
-Don't sunbathe too often to reduce risks of skin cancer.
-Don't drink to excess.
-Look after your skin.
All of the above are the things that I have thought that I should be doing. What type of thing should you do to make sure that you are healthy in your old age? We all want to be able to see our grandchildren grow up, don't we?

I am taking a lot of steps to be able to improve my health, and this is the reason that I have chosen to come on here and talk to you about the things that I am choosing to change. The most important thing for people to do is to stop thinking of excuses about why they are not able to give themselves a better lifestyle, because they need to realise that they are worth the effort and that the healthier they are in their early life, the more they are going to be able to achieve in their later life because they will have given themselves a good grounding.

Of course we all want to be able to live long lives and be able to see our children and our grandchildren grow up.
I think all of the tips that you've shared are great tips. However, there are other things that we need to remember as well. For example, it is important to get regular physicals so that ailments that we develop can be taken care of before they become chronic conditions. In addition to that, we should make sure and take vitamins for things that might be lacking in our regular diets.

Vitamins are something that a lot of people don't think about, even though there are some that are vital to our diet. If we have a balanced diet we can almost certainly get in all of the vitamins that we need without having to take supplements, however the majority of people never get all of the things that they need which means that they would have to take them separately. Usually, if people eat lots of fruit and vegetables they should find that they're getting enough vitamins to make them healthy in the way that they should be.

I think that walking is one of the exercises that people completely underestimate, because they don't believe that if you're not sweating that you're able to burn those calories. One of the best things about walking is the fact that it is not too taxing, and most people are able to do it for a long time without getting out of breath. I lost a lot of weight by just using walking as my only exercise, and I have to say that I am grateful that I am able to do this type of exercise because it is much better than a lot of things that I have done in the past.

Age is quick in catching up with many of us and the issue of health should be our priority concern now as old age diseases like to lick on aging bodies. Exercise and diet has topped my daily agenda in order to continue my journey on earth pain free. There are still a lot of unfinished business that need to be accomplished before retiring in peace. Neglecting myself means an early grave which I am still not ready yet to leave my adult kids.

Exercise and diet are very important, and I do think that it is a total shame that so many people take it for granted until they know that their health has already suffered. I was one of these people and I wasn't always in shape. It took a ridiculous wake up call for me to think that I should change things about my weight and because of that I woke up and knew what I had to do; and that was to make sure that I was having a good diet and exercise so that I could make myself healthier to make the most of my own future.

THis is a healthy advise. When a person is still young, he might not consider the value of health discipline. When someones health is still alright, he might not consider the value of healthy diet and exercise. I just hope every one will realize valuable health specially in the latter part of life.

I think that it is far too easy for people to think that they can eat whatever they like when they are young, because they just think that their body will be able to cope with it. This might be true at the time, but the truth is that none of us truly know the damage that we have done to our body until something goes wrong and we are able to see it. I think that should really respect our body, because we only get one and if we treat that badly then it is not going to work for us when we get older and when we need it to work well.
