Sad to hear that your monitor is giving troubles to you, why don't you think about repairing your monitor? is your monitor is an LCD one? Why are you planning to buy a LED monitor? LCD monitors are quite common in this days.
We can easily service our LCD Monitors by our own. Recently one of my friends LCD monitor is repaired and he planned to buy a new one. In fact his system was 10 years old, but working properly without any issues. The LCD monitor only gives problems every now and then. He just planned to buy a new monitor but it costs a little bit high from his expectation.
He is very much interested in computer hardware and planned to repair his monitor by his own. He searched to find a site to get training and find a great site to solve his problem. This site is a great guide for repairing our monitor and system by our own. It contains a complete package of monitor service. He purchased the kit and repaired his monitor by his own.
Few days before his neighbor system gives some trouble due to the CRT problem. As he learnt the monitor service from the guide, so he can repair the monitor easily without more problem, his neighbor is very much satisfied with his service and paid a good money for his work. Now he turned as a great Monitor Engineer and make a good income from his work.
We can find a lot of sites and ebooks in this sort by making search. If your system or monitor gives troubles to you, try to make a search about this issue you will find a lot of related blogs and sites regarding to your issues. Some times you can easily solve your issues without going to an engineer and save your money with the search. Don't worry about computer issues and problems, internet is the great place to get solution for anything and every thing and we will get a lot of information with our search.

I think the LED monitor would be a good idea. Bright and lasts a long time.

I would think that if you look online for models that look like what you want you may be able to find message boards and pros and cons for each. I would see what people are saying about them. Consumer Affairs.

Hi,
I have a seven year old desktop too. The day when its CRT monitor blinked out, our CRT TV just beside it also went out of commission a few days later. I was thinking of a double investment in the coming days, a PC and TV monitor. Then I remember one time one time when a promotional sale in town displayed one of their LCD TV and I suspect could that TV also double as a PC monitor? A quick search of the model and brand revealed that it could, at a touch of the remote control, I could select from one of the six inputs from TV,AV1,AV2,HDMI,Cable and PC with all the "intelligent" automatic settings in between.
I didn't think twice to call the dealer and put in an order for the LCD TV. It was 24 inches diagonal, and it connects to all the existing peripherals I have, including that Xbox I was planning to have. It is a bit overworked now, from TV to DVD output to PC all in one, depending upon the usage. I wonder how long will it last. Been using it for almost eight months now with no signs of degrading picture quality, for now.

good you can go in for lED monitor. I do not know what is the cost of it. if you can afford to buy then that is a best option. you are in vizag and you must be having a computer market place wherein you can get it.

Depending on your budget. More economical will be LCD as it is widely used now. If you were to choose, buy those "wide screen" instead of the square screen type. It is more helpful in presenting things on the screen for viewing. However, the trend is slowly shifting towards LED, but not so commonly used yet and is expensive. As for touch screen it is definitely the high end ones based on its features.
Previously i bought Samsung LCD, well it easily has black spots on the screen after some time. Whichever branded ones should be good, like Dell or HP. If you have any thoughts to buy touch screen, here is a link of review on touch screen monitors. touchscreen-monitors-review.toptenreviews.com

The black spot on my Samsung LCD which i am referring to is not very badly damage until i cannot use the monitor. It just has a few small dots on the screen. If you are a very particular person to notice it, you may find it uncomfortable. But as for its useful life, i am still using it now for almost 3-4 years already. Anyhow, maybe it has improved its quality by now.

Well, I for two years I left the desk-pc, to move permanently to the laptop.
For this reason, I do not need any external monitor, as it is an integral part of the computer.
However, keeping me informed about technological outputs, it seems that now these flat-screen LED are the best choice for buying a monitor to a desk-pc.
I can not recommend a particular brand, but you should take it to LED. Important is the quality the same and which has a size not less than 19 inches.
