What is going on??

This is crazy... But I know some of us diehard fans of mylot are going to keep writing.. I just wonder what will happen to the number of members.. Not everyone has the patience to redo a response or discussion just to get something started.. How many writers that write good discussions will we lose??

I believe it is past already.. The cut off date is the 15th of the month

Oh maybe I am mistaken, I thought I saw a post from Echo that there was like 8-9 days left to reach the $10 minimum payout by the end of the month.

I have been getting some notifications, but not all of them when people post comments. I am starting to get some notifications when friends start a new discussion. I think the site is working, but maybe there is too much volume or something that is causing lag times.

That worked;-) that was weird... Yes I am also recieving some of my notifactions but not all of them.. Yes it must be the fact that mylot is getting so big that they can not keep up, I hope they can upgrade soon..

I hope they upgrade soon too. Can they upgrade the site without having to take the how site offline? It would be sad if the site was down for a few days, but I guess if that is what they have to do to solve these issues; then it is what is best for the community in the long run.

Oh yea more then likely and if you refer to the articles that I posted in a response up above that might also be the problem too.. Which has nothing to do with mylot.. thats microsoft...

Yes, part of it could just be the web browser acting up. I was having trouble until I performed a system shut down rebooted my system. It is working much better now. In addition, I have been getting lots of email notifications today!

I did too.. There has been a couple weird problems lately.. I am not trying to complain I love it here it just gets frustrating sometimes... I have had to rewrite responses because the page times out, and when you hit the back button you have to redo everything...

I know what you mean after retyping the same post three time, and having the whole thing go blank, I finally restarted my laptop. It seems like it is working better now. You may try restarting to see if that helps. I cannot tell if it is a browser issue or what that I'm having today. I've tried a few different sites and having trouble with all of my work online sites. It could just be that it is close to the end of the month. Well, friend since your rating is over 500 try to remember to do a quick select all (CTRL A) and copy (CTRL C); then if it times out or something you can just paste your post, and try again. It may be a little less frustrating. Personally, I wish I was at 500 or above, so this would work for me. Ironically the issue does motivate me to want to get to the 500 level.

Hatley, good suggestions. I know yesterday I was having trouble with getting some of the blogs to open. I went back in a few different times, and finally it loaded. So, like you said it could just be a problem with the second page loading.

ANd if you don't go through GAA you won't get any response back anyway.

This is possible.. There are so many different possiblities the only way to really know is if mylot would explain the problem... I havent personally contacted the admin yet, I figured there are many that have been complaining already.. Would rather have the admins working on the problem instead of reading endless complaints..

Yes I noticed this too.. I just thought that I was going to fast and possibly passing it..

I know what you mean it is like the tags are coming up sometimes, but not always when you post a comment. Sometimes, it seems like you are just going to fast, and missing it. It would be nice if it was consistent.

Thanks to talking to sishy, I think the reason why we sometimes get asked to add tags and not other times is that if there is already the maximum number of tags for the discussion it skips the tag page, and directly posts your comment. If there are only a couple of tags with the discussion needing more tags, it will ask you if would like to add tags when posting your comment. It is nice to at least understand how things work here in myLot.

I do not think someone is sleeping on the job; there are several things that are going on.. The problems are not linked...

Hatley hopefully it as someone mentioned above that they are doing repair on the site. Sorry, you having trouble responding to comments that people left you. In addition, I would hope that myLot does keep any eye out under the myLot section to see if members are discussing problems with the site. I definitely think that if you are having a specific problem it may be best to contact them directly. So, far I have been successful in opening pages when I wanted to go back into them using Firefox. When I tried with Explorer I was having trouble. Sven... had posted some articles that there is problems with Explorer so you may try downloading Firefox, and see if that works to resolve the trouble.
