my mylot task disappeared?

Hi ,
I was wondering why no one was interested in my task anymore. So I checked the task dashboard and couldn't find it listed anymore, it had been there before though. I've tried to ask GoAskAlice but for that he needs to be a friend. However, the friendship is still set to pending (for several days now). Does anyone know more or what I can do about it? I hope GoAskAlice is fine.

Admin deleted tasks when they do not comply to the Terms.
GoAskAlice does not have to be your friend for you to send him a PM.
Go to your messages -- compose -- insert GoAskAlice as the recipient -- type your message and then send it. When he logs in next time he will reply to you.

now I see it, too! Thank you
now I have to ask myself why there have been no submissions so far. Too complicated? Too little reward? Maybe I should just wait a bit longer

I can see the Task (but it won't appear in your task list because you are the owner). It seems to me that, not only is the work quite specialised (and therefore there will be fewer takers) but that, for the skills and time needed to complete the task (probably not less than an hour, including downloading and becoming familiar with the software, &c), the payment of just 10 cents is far too low.
People vary, of course, in how they value their time but it seems to me that, in view of the complexity of the task, something around $1 would be more appropriate.

I understand what you mean. My idea was that the task would attract some video (editing) enthusiasts (like myself). They might actually like doing the task because it means fun. You even get a freeware program which you can use for other purposes, too. The installations of additional software could be skipped by those who have already installed VirtualDub and AviSynth and probably the codecs, too. So it would only be making the video. The problem for me is that many people already use the software (has been d/led several thousand times) but almost noone says that he or she uses it. So I give them a little sweetener.

I think you should check you apply all the conditions which explain in mylot rule and if yes then you should contact the admin. They can give the answer because some time if we are prohibited any rule then our task is banned.
