It seems that women are switching to Gov. Romney and away from President Obama. Are women seeing the Democrats as a single issue party when it concerns women? Their ads seem to show women only concerned with Birth Control and Abortion. Almost every poll I read shows women like the general population are concerned about the economy and jobs so why are the Democrats betting on the Birth Control and Abortion?

I would say that the top issues that women are concerned about are the same ones that concern men. Where the dems fall down is that they always try to make people equal by treating them differently under the law. Then they make fun of Romney because of his binder comment. Most women are smart enough to realize that behind all the "binder" sillyness is the fact that Romney recognized a inequity and fixed it. So rather than a bunch of talking he actually did something and went about his day.

From what I can tell the whole "war on women" crap fell apart as soon as women watched the first debate and realized that Romney isn't some anti-woman monster. It's a lot easier to make people fear what they don't know. Now women voters know Romney. Sure, that doesn't mean they'll all like him, but once they saw him in the debates, you saw that the the polls were suddenly much more balanced. Also, I believe Joe Biden's awful performance at the VP debate turned some women against him and Obama.

Some have criticized Romney for his calm demeanor at the third debate and his failure to push hard on Benghazi. But it worked for women voters, apparently. Among women voters, Romney and Obama are now 50/50. According to some, women don't like confrontation and fear voting for a warmonger. Romney showed them that he is not that, that he's evenhanded and his plans do not include starting a war.
Women are not concerned only with contraception and abortion. How many women voters are actually contemplating abortion immediately following the election? It cannot obviously be the most important issue for them.

Some people still do not see women as an equal.. So many are sooo consider about color, gays/ leibans, etc.etc. That they have forgot the rights that women have just gained in the last 50 or so years.. Not trying to be sexist or anything but the attitude of alot of males is that they are better then women.. Most know the reasons so I am not going to waste my breath on such rubbish... Why would it only be a consern for women? When men have just as many rights and responsibilites.. Well except for the obivious; having the children.. It may not look like it because of the talk shows that represent wrong as a whole; but some men want children too..

My point was that the Birth Control and Abortion are important to women but it is not the only issue and from what I have read it is not the top issue and it seem to me that the Democrats are making it issue number one and ignoring the other issues that are more important to women.
They have also seen Gov Romney as a modern man with positions but not one that is going to put women back in a cave.

Considering that a women being able to have control over her body and decide when to get pregnant, which can highly effect her life as far as having a job and the like, yeah, it's a pretty big issue.
and Romney flip flops on the topic of women's health so much it's enough to give a person whiplash.
