The elderly are very profitable ; them to life as the capital , they will go on the road , pretending to fall injuries down the road, or in case of a car . Elderly people are usually the victim of perpetrators and I think, it is rare to see them as otherwise. In cases like that, they really need some reliable witnesses to the crime and medical records to support the claim. I hope they can prove it to be a genuine complaint then. Thanks

A new thing here in the states is young thugs beating up an elderly person and robbing them! OMG humans can fall so veRy low! And of course any kind of fraud is beneath contempt also. We get a lot of scam artists targeting the elderly around here. It's not as bad if a lone person is desperate, it's still not good, better to pray or seek help from a charitable organization or church-which may respond more quickly, ..but it's not as evil as organized scam operations.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well in a way this thing is happening on the streets who are pretending to be ill and are making money by lying to people and fooling them but i have never encountered such cases with me and i have personally seen many elders who have been ditched by their family and they have been left on the streets at lurch and we should help them specially and not the ones who are acting and pretending to be ill.

Hi friend, not all the elders are in this sort. But some people will do anything to make money and this kind of way is one among them. We never cheat any one for our earnings and this kind of money never give any good things as well as satisfaction to us. I never encountered this kind of elders in my life
