Hi guys, after so many of watching animes I sometimes do encounter people that change their lives due to the love of anime. In other words these people were inspired by something just by watching animes. Some them even change their current jobs because of the love of anime. Some took risk and try different things that other people have never tried or doomed to fail. But these people tend to end being successful. So, does watching anime change your life? Have ever made a big decision that may turn your life around?

Well, I have to say anime has given more a lot of opportunities. For instance, without anime, I probably would have not pursued learning Japanese. It's still a work-in-progress, but I never get tired of learning. I have met a lot of good people who shared my interest of anime and even attended awesome conventions. For me, anime has inspired me to have a different outlook on life where there are so many possibilities.

I used to be really hooked on anime on my high school days. I watched every anime I could get my hands on. I was a really big fan of it that I know all the songs to my favorite series, I don't understand any of the lyrics but I can sing to it very well. I've also noted the schedule of every anime show on animal even the ones that air past midnight and the ones that air very early in the morning. On weekends, mid watch anime non stop and catch up on old series whenever I can. I was so into it that I've even tried to learn Japanese language and I've tried drawing the anime characters. Because of anime, I've wanted to eneter into fine arts in college. But myparents weren't supportive of me in this so now I am a nurse. I deeply regret not following my desire to be a cartoonist. I'm actually saving up so I can go back to school again. Now I just feel that there was so much wasted time and money for not just pursuing an art class in college. Anyway, that's how anime changed my life.

Yes, i agree.. some animes have really good stories and even teach life lessons.. I have not watched a good anime these past few years though. I just love watching anime.. it taught me some lessons about family, love and friendship.. like Gon and Killua's friendship..

For me, anime are not just illustrations that is moving. For me, they are illustrations that moves to show what life goes beyond this illustrations. There a lot of good animators out there that brings up good stories, that somehow I may say could really inspire you or might change the way of your life. Anime are also made by humans, especially with good intention to inspire. So anime might change someone's life.

Watching Anime can turn a person's life by inspiring him/her. It can make a people ba more creative. It can expand one's imagination by enhancing the fantasies you get from watching Anime. However, it can lead a people to doom if you spend your whole life watching Anime non-stop. You may not meet new people if you just stick on just watching anime. One person can enjoy anime if you know the advantage and disadvantages you can get

There are a lot of people who are really addicted in watching Animes. And some of them even act the way that anime characters act. Besides, a lot of people are joining cosplays events which is popular nowadays. :)

Thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Well i was surprised to hear that people get so inspired by watching animes that they leave their jobs also. I think it depends on how people are taking lessons from these animes. if they are taking positives from them and implementing it in their real lives then there is no wrong in it but to use it by sacrificing some things in their life sounds a bit wacky and weird. What say?
