Cosplaying as Alphonse Eldric in Armour Suit

As a fan of FMA, I have seen a number of cosplayers that would cosplay as other characters but not Armour suit Al. Armour suit itself is already cool and plus that it can talk and move without anybody inside. So I am wondering is Armour Suit Al one of the rarest cosplaying character? If so what are the difficulties in cosplaying as Armour suit Al?

I have at least seen one picture of a Alphonse armor suit cosplayer. Not really that hard compared with more elaborate costumes but I guess the popularity of Full metal alchemist has waned with time.
