What is the weather like in Germany now? A customer said they don't do big business from December to Feburary because of the freezing weather. I never see now so far.It is always warm in winter in South China. So I wonder how cold is it in Germany now?

It is true that between December and February are low periods for business in Southern Germany where weather is the harshest. I have no experience of the Northern parts where the weather patterns are less harsh. Actually I think the reason for this is more to do with tradition than the winter, at least that is what I felt when I was living there. With modern heating there is no reason for business to stop, there are however a number of winter festivals and those seem more the reason for the slow-down than the onset of winter.

So far I have heard that the weather in Germany, and Scandinivian countries ranges from cold to extremely cold in winters. It snows a lot, and many a times things have to be shut down. So, they have more business in summer times.
