Hello Everyone, I'm fairly new to mylot, so forgive me If I post this in the wrong place. Well I'm a relatively new driver, (got my license a year and a half ago). I currently drive regularly, and the clutch is just really hard to press down. In fact it's so hard that It has now given me pain on the left side of my hip, plus on the bone under my foot. So my question is: Are all clutches the same to press down? Are Some clutches softer than others? I would really appreciate some advise here. Thank you.

Normally, just the right amount of pressure is needed to press down the clutch. If you find that you're exerting hard to do it, most likely there's a problem with your clutch assembly. Take it to the shop. Sometimes a simple adjustment could do the trick. Worse case is the whole assembly might need to be replaced.

Thank you! I will consider taking it to the shop when I can. I just hope the whole assembly isn't bad.
