Windows 8 appears to be a lot more different than Windows 7. It is gear toward tablet user. User needs to relearn how to use it since some regular features disappear. Many users find to have struggles with the new design and features. Microsoft already suspects that this is going to happen. They have prepared a huge marketing campaign which will be used to familiarize people with the new design. What do you think of Windows 8? Has anybody experienced it? Share your opinion. Do you think Microsoft make a good move with this bold revamp of Windows?

i agree with you, ryanong. many of your fave programs won't even be compatible. i think i will just stay with window seven for a while. i think that the rushed 8, just like they rushed vista and look what happened.

I'm not too excited about Windows 8. They're taking a leaf out of Apple's handbook. Integrating some stuff from their mobile to the desktop. Only Apple made the right move because ios is the leading mobile os out there (or was it android?). Windows on the other hand completely change the whole image of their operating system to something like windows mobile which is really not doing that well. All in all I still hope Windows proves me wrong.

Yeah same here, I still keep to Windows 7, heck if I had the choice I'd still use XP Pro - I ran XP for a whole four months without turning it off, it ran sweet no problems. Was so stable. As for Windows 8, I haven't seen anything good, it's quite complex initially the GUI and what not.

I heard that Windows 8 is not user friendly. A billion people in the world are windows users and a drastic change in it's features. Nobody even asked for it and nobody wanted the change. Nobody likes the change. I'm betting it's gonna be a great disaster they have placed upon the company.
