Can I hear your story?

Hi kelvinoo and welcome to My Lot. As you posted a story about music, I'll do the same. When I was a little boy, I used to invent songs in my head even though I couldn't play a musical instrument, and I used to charge my brother minute amounts of money to sing them to him. In time, I learned to play a little guitar, although at first I was pretty bad: I picked up a few chords from a school friend, as I recall I think they were chords (such as) C, Fmaj7, G, Em...but I couldn't play bar chords. I learned some Hard Rock riffs such as the main riff from Deep Purple's "Black Night". However, in time I started writing songs on guitar; but they were pretty weak. However, some of the melodies I wrote I later revived. in time, I grew as a guitar player; and developed my own style; and so was in a position to write quite good songs. Today I consider myself a good singer, and quite a good songwriter. while I'd not consider myself a good guitarist, I have my own style, and it enables me to write songs. That's my musical story :)

hi there! I am a teacher but wanted to be a vet. Anyways, I am teaching in a public school and eventually had learn to love my vocation. My mother wanted to be a teacher, she was the one who encouraged me to be one. What's the name of your church?

Hello, kelvinooi! Welcome to Mylot! Well, there are million of stories about me. But I think this is one thing that I'd like younger members here at mylot to learn from. I got married at 22 years old. I was 3 months away from graduation, gave birth at the same time. It was never planned and never thought that it would happen so soon. I practically never had any pre-natal check ups. Luckily, I gave birth to a normal kid even though he was short by 2 months. Things weren't that smooth but hey, that is life, right? Anyway, I would just want to tell is that we need to be responsible, cautious and prepared for anything that will happen. Life is not a bed full of roses. We should learn from our mistakes and make ourselves better after a fall.

Hello! I am fairly new to mylot as well. My story is VERY complicated, well I traveled to 70 countries (150 places) in my early childhood because of my parents occupation, and I eventually ended up in Forensic Investigation, and Computer Security. Well that's the short version of my story.
