My favorite international authors are Paulo Coelho and Nicholas Sparks. And my favorite local author is Bo Sanchez. And out of curiosity, I research on their autobiographies. And I was truly blessed when I read this life back grounds. I learned a lot from their stories. And since I wanted to become an author of a book one day, the things that I learned from their lives will be very useful in the near future.

When I really like a book I usually look for information about the author. I am interested in their lives and I am interested in the things that inspire them to write their books. At the moment I am rereading 3 books by a Norwigian author called Ingvar Ambjorsen. I like his books a lot and I was curiuos to know who the author was since I only knew his name and nothing about his life or his background. I found a website where I am able to read a lot of him, his life and the books that he has written. I was especially interested in background of the books about Elling and I able to find some information about that.

I always read whatever is on the book jacket about an author, and sometimes, especially if I'm reviewing an author's book, I will also do a bit of research online. It is helpful to know more about the author to better understand a book.

Yes I do sometimes, you know, we had to learn biographies of famous authors for our literature exams when I was in school. I like to read biographies or autobiographies of popular and successful people (not just only of authors also from other fields).

I read Amy Tan, Christy Brown and Julia Alvarez's autobiography as I am interested in the lives of the authors who write the books I like reading. I found out lots of interesting things about them and the challenges they have as writers.
