What are your regrets in life?

I know its time consuming to think about past things that did or did not happen in your life that you wished could have changed. But once in awhile when I'm not busy or doing anything, I sometimes remember about some points in my life when I thought I made a mistake. Like I have a crush on this classmate of mine in college and I thought she have a boyfriend. Then I found out when we graduated that she does not, and that she also was "asking" a classmate of her, who became my officemate about me. But I learned about it two years after we graduated and by that time, she was already engaged.
Its probably just me feeling melancholic, now that I am not so young anymore and I lost contact with my old friends and now I feel that I am more alone as time goes by. I also have no luck finding a girlfriend with love in mind and not money or other stuff.

I don't really regret on something as much as I can cause when you made a decision you should stick to it no matter what happened, there are decisions that we should regret about but it will not turn back time.

When I left my job abroad. I think that things are just happening for a reason. I have good life when I was working there and of course earning big money is not a game. I am working seriously hard and I have no time to play. I should have vacation instead o f living my job. I think that I can have it again but it will be too hard for me to provide again those requirements that I need.

I regret that when my father was petition for me , I didnt confirm it . At that time I dindt want to leave my country , my home to live with him . I now see that my decision was not though through , because being able to live at any of the two country would not have been a bad option because I would have been able to chose .

I don't think that you should have regrets as such, because if you do this then you might find that you spend more of your life thinking about these than moving on with the things that you should be focussing on. I do have things in my life that I wish that I hadn't done, but rather than regretting them I choose to take lessons from them instead and then I decide how I am going to behave in the future based on this. Learning from our mistakes is very important, and as long as something good comes from each mistake then they're not too bad.

You have to get out there and make your self noticeable and stand out in a crowd sometimes to find your love in life, I was very outgoing in life and did so much with my friends in high school and growing up i did alot with dance and cheerleading and i loved every minute of it and im thankful my parents did this because i grew up with so many friends in life.
I dont usually ever regret anything of course there are some regrets in life that i messed up on things but im not regretting them much anymore because im very happy where mylife has taken me and glad to be where i am right now.

It is hard to say that I regret anything that happened, because even the worst mistakes have a purpose. They lead to an extremely valuable lesson that cannot be measured for any reason whatsoever. In fact, there are times where the blunders that are made can be actually rather beneficial. To regret them would mean that I also regret learning a valuable lesson that just set me up for something greater in life.
So really in the end, I don’t have many regrets. I find myself rather focused on the task at hand, and just able to get the most out of life. It’s not going to be perfect, it never is going to be perfect. The closest thing I have to a regret would be the lazy attitude I had in my teenage years, but it set me up for a self realization of what I needed to do and just made me a stronger person. Would I have come to those realizations if I had not made those mistakes? It’s hard to say really.

It's funny that I came across this question. Well.... I was just thinking about this. I have a lot of regrets in my life. Like not finishing my studies and building my world around one person that doesn't even care. But! I thought about all the things I love about my life and I thought to myself that I would not have those things and the people in my life if I have not been through all the bad things. I just think of all the things that I actually like in my life and the people who made me who I am right now and I regret thinking about my regrets. :)

It is hard to say these are regrets since I made choices once and at that time they were right. Also I can't say these were mistakes. I still do find it pity I did not stay in Tunesia 26 years ago for 1 year or longer. I also would never give that much money to friends, strangers, partners anymore.
