Want to sell on Ebay but paypal is unavailable

Hello everybody!Im from Mauritius a small island in the Indian Ocean.My problem is that i cant use paypal for receiving payment for the items i wish to sell on ebay.Ive even emailed paypal concerning this problem but they told me that my country is not included in the 190 countries where this service is available.
Are there other people facing the same problem?Are there other options besides paypal available to me?How will i be able to accept payments?Are they as secure and safe as paypal?Please mylotters help me find a solution.

You can only send money from Mauritius with PayPal and not receive money, so you can use Ebay to buy and not to sell. It happens generally when PayPal finds that a country is too small for its business and does not want to negotiate with its government and banks. Many people in many small countries are facing the same problem than you, including the Pope, as the Vatican is also a send only country

its so bad that you cant use eBay because eBay is market place where you can buy or sell anythings .but papal is not in your country its so bad .
you can use eBay for buying .you have to wait for some time may be they start it in your country.

yes unluckly you can't sell on ebay if you live in a country not included in paypal list!in reality mauritius is a small island so probably some sites didn't count to put services for them may be in the future they will add to the paypal list but for the moment you can only buy i guess...
