I am reading a discussion and already posting a comment when suddenly I change my mind and close it. It happens to me when I don't think my comment will matter or what I am saying is not of good help. I even deleted a discussion about to post because suddenly I change my mind. One way to prevent it from happening is to respond to discussions I have knowledge about. But there are times I suddenly lose what's in my mind so that it happens again. Does this happen to you?

Yeah, for quite a lot of times whenever I think that I can comment. However, instead of thinking that my comment wouldn't matter anymore, I would think that I can't really give a correct response to the discussion thus instead of wasting a reader's time, I just close the tab and go to other discussions that may interest me.

Yes, same with me SinfulRose but sometimes there were times too that suddenly my mind simply went _ _ _ _ blank _ _ _ :D

I had some experience with that kind of problem too. So what I do is sometimes leave the tab of the discussion open and go back to it later. If I feel like responding, I would but if still nothing comes to me hours later, I would just give up and close it.
I'd rather not stress myself on what to comment considering that I go to MyLot to spend time just to let go of stress--not to be stressed.

Haha. Same here. I am sure I have many ideas in time but sometimes it just went blank. Sometimes also, distractions made my ideas fly away. So, when I have something good to say and share I am really in a hurry. Though that just make me commit mistakes. Thank you for sharing.

Hi shylade, such similar situation happened to me many times. I'm typing posts while working busily on my pc on weekdays. A single post needs to take me quite some time to finish it off and on. It's not because of the low or interruption of internet speed, just on account of lacking of time to engross in typing a complete post.
Sometimes when I come back to the incomplete post I find difficult to continue for my inspiration has flied away lol... and would abandon it finally It's so difficult to start a new discussion as well in such situation. That's why I haven't written any new discussion for quite a long time. Anyway there is still lots of fun to read and type posts here whenever have spare time
Happy posting

Yeah, I enjoy reading interesting discussions while browsing here. I have acquired lots of knowledge and info from myLot friends from different parts of the world Glad to learn that you have read the guidelines to avoid having any violation causing undesirable deletion of discussions. Nice job
I would type post while having lunch in restaurant at time. I'm not good in using the touch pad and of course would take longer time to finish a single post. I hadn't completed the post yet when all of them going to move...I couldn't type anything else in a hurry even though it needed a couple of sentences or so to end it. You are most welcome and enjoy the fun posting here

Yes, there are many discussions here that are enjoyable to read. Sometimes, I also don't post discussions much because I am also afraid that it will violate a rule but luckily since I have read the guidelines carefully, no discussions of mines have been deleted. Thank you for sharing and happy mylotting!

quite a few times i have written a comment and then thought better of posting it.
but then sometimes i have posted a comment and wished i hadn't, but then the person whose discussion it was responds to my comment and seems perfectly happy with what i said.
maybe you are worrying too much about what you say, i am sure we all do it, but in the end unless you say something really offensive, you shouldn't worry too much.

and probably the people who do post offensive commments probably don't worry at all about what they say.

Yes, it did happen to me a lot of times already as well. I think it just shows we are not really more on the money but on what we can contribute to the mylot community which is good :)

I have caught myself a couple of times instead of hitting post response I just closed the window. Sometimes there were certain discussions that really irks me, but then I figure it would be a waste of my time to let it get to me and to even reply to it showing how affected I am. If I replied, then there will be otherwise replies and it will never end.

Of course there were others out there who are actually open-minded and who believe that we can all agree to disagree and can take any opinions and respect it. And that's what makes this site even more attractive for me, the presence of individuals who respect other people's opinions and those who would rather discuss something openly rather than drive into any conclusions without checking it first.

Yes, it does happen to me a lots of time.
Usually this occur when I can't relate to the topic of the discussions.
As much as I want to response but my mind just goes blank of the topic.
Cheers and Happy mylotting!

Yes, I sometimes experience that. Instead of posting my discussion or comment, I just cancel it. Sometimes we are not in the mood to write so our flow of ideas is affected. Sometimes I also experience writer's block. Well, I guess we just have to take some rest for awhile and try to scan discussions and comments posted. Eventually, we will be motivated to write again. Happy mylotting.

Oh, that's right. Writing down your ideas is helpful. By doing that, you won't forget them anymore. Just keep on writing... Happy mylotting.

Hi shy! There are really times that I am already starting encoding my reply then I realized that I am just out of the topic so I drop the idea and close the discussion. I have several friends here and I want to join them in their discussions but it's just I cannot relate. Well, I'm sure they would understand.
Have a nice day!

It also happens to me all the time. And I guess it's one of the reason why I only have few discussions being replied. :)

Of course. There have been some times where I've contemplated over whether submitting the discussion was purely for money or for people to answer it. MyLot's quite a strange place if you ask me.. :D

I am enjoying mylot not because of money but because I can take a break and release all my thoughts here. Also, I am learning a lot from here. Even just by reading. I really don't comment if I don't have something good to say. Thank you for the response.

This happens to me A LOT. Mostly it happens when I am not in the mood to participate in discussion but I push myself in order to earn a few cents. :) But yeah, needless to say I do not earn anything during those times since I end up deleting whatever I was about to say. :)

It happened to me yesterday. I read a discussion and I thought I could make a response in it. And while typing a few words for a response, I stop for a while because all of a sudden, I couldn't think of a word to type. So I decided to just look at other discussions to respond
