I do not watch this type of movies. Based on the synopsis of these movies, I will choose to stay away from them. They're truly disturbing and disgusting. Very sick indeed. And to think that they've made a sequel to the Human Centipede. That is just so sick.
I guess some people just enjoy watching graphic horror movies. If there's no blood or gore, there's no horror. I prefer the psychological type of horror movies. It's much more scarier since it plays on your imagination.

The number one movie that popped into my mind as soon as I read your discussion was the Saw sequels. I couldn't have the guts to finish the sequel. I'm just weak like that. I really fear bloody scenes, especially one involving operations, torture, and the sort.

I remember checking out Cannibal Holocaust when I first got Netflix. It was pretty discusting. Most people, like me, watch these type movies out of curiousity I think. I don't care for gore movies but I am alway curious about how discusting people can be. So you don't care for Hostell type movies then?

They can certainly make it grotest can't they? Hostel 2 was disturbing because the girl was the murderer in it. I think that was the one. Ugh!

I like some horror movies or ghost movies, but I don't like the really gory ones. I prefer psychological horror movies or movies that are scary but not too disgusting. I haven't watched any of the movies that you mentioned, but I watched another horror movie some time ago. It was a Korean movie, but I don't remember the name of it. It was one of the most disgusting movies I have ever seem. I think that I watched about 10 minutes of the movie and then I couldn't stand watching anymore so I decided to return the movie without watching the rest of it. If I experience the same thing again I would do the same thing and I would simply stop watching it.

I saw some Korean horror movies and they do use lots of blood in it too and their ghosts are pretty scary too. I think you may be talking about Princes Aurora. The first scene had a woman kill another woman in the cubicle, stabbing her a couple of times.

Last weekend I watched the "Wrong Turn 5" and the killings were so gory. I am not used to watching these films but when I watched it I just admired how they make it so real, the special effects and all. It makes the movie more realistic.

I have not seen the other Wrong Turn series. Well this one is a good movie. Simple plot but it really left an impression on how they executed the killing of their victims.

They are so brutal. I sometimes can't take watching those movies. However, I'm a bit curious of what will happen next so I couldn't stop watching. I just hope no children are around because they might imitate the killings.

Yes, some people can't stand watching those movies. They think that they are sickening. They avoid these movies.

I had the unfortunate luck to see scenes from Cannibal Holocaust when another student did a presentation on it back when I was still going to film school. I had nightmares, and I couldn't believe the teacher was like, "Oh, it wasn't that bad."
I'm squeamish. I can't stand copious amounts of blood or gore, and sick, twisted ideas make me want to crawl under my bed and cry. I like my movies somewhat family friendly.

Human Centipede is indeed disgusting and disturbing movie.
I also watch horror, thriller and murder movies- but not as disgusting like those movies that you've written here...
Now, I try to check the movie trailer before watching the whole of it.

Yeah, but sometimes i hate trailers since they have spoilers in them too, or they show too much.. you sometimes watch the entire movie when you watch the trailer.. Or usually, the trailer is so much better than the movie itself, you get disappointed.

The last movie I saw which disturbs me a lot was a movie called Funny Games. There are really little to no gore in it. Its the story of a family of 3 who let in to their house 2 young, clean cut boys who later tortured and killed them one by one. To these boys they are just playing some funny games. The ending was the two young boys found another family that let them into their home.

I'm a huge fan of scary movies and horror, but there is a limit to what I can take. I've seen parts of the Human Centipede but it's just so bizarre that I didn't even watch it all. Things like that are pretty disturbing although some may say that horror and gore in general is disturbing.
But for me, I do draw the line at weird stuff like that. I haven't seen or heard of the others that you mentioned. Some movies are just plain disturbing and as much as I love the horror genre, I avoid disturbing, torture movies.

Oh dear, I also wonder why do people create such films. Well perhaps it's because of money, fame or simply they just feel doing so. Nevertheless, I honestly don't enjoy those kind of films. I could only tolerate watching some disturbing scenes if it's relevant to the story of the film, like in the film Schindler's list which really hard brutal scenes because it's depicting what really happened during the war.

I have always wondered the same thing. Maybe these people who like those are like them in real life. You never know. have a good one there.

I doubt that.. I hope the people who watch really violent movies are not like the villains.. since that would be totally scary.
imagine someone being the real Jigsaw.. making those really scary torture/killing devices.. I would find it hard to sleep.

Besides these movies, in fact I think the movie Hostel is the most disgusting and disturbing movies in my opinion. Since it is so sick for some people to torture the innocent people for pleasure. The worst thing is that there are really some people who enjoy it.

Last weekend, I watched a disturbing movie entitled "Waiting for Forever". It is supposed to be a romantic movie but I was disturbed because of the stalker's concept of love is to follow the woman wherever she goes. Well, when you put it that way, I guess that's the reason why he is called a stalker, LoL! I do not like watching gory movies, I feel so affected after watching it. The scenes kept playing in my mind. :O

Violence for the sake of violence is stupid.I don't remember the title of the movie I watched several years ago, but it was about crazy dentist who tortured his patients and then killed them. What kind of audience can enjoy stuff like that?Yuck.I doubt the sanity of people who create this.I can't watch movies where they do something to kids or animals, I don't need this kind of adrenaline.

Oh, i think i saw some pictures of that movie, it is an old one.. and the gore and blood was so weird, looked like juice.. I forgot the title too, since i never got to watch it.. there was this scene where the entire mouth, the gums was all blood. I don't like any film that tortures kids and animals too.

some people just like that kind of movie,i think there should be a limitation to the extent of exposure of movies, otherwise it will do harm to our kids..
