i made the same mistake as ever. this very weakness of myself which i able to do plenty of times and doing it over and over again. so that you can understand, this is how it all started:
i thought my wallet was gone. the content of it in there were my school prospectus, a cheque with little amount, and any papers and identification cards. i asked my boyfriend if ha had seen it. i was so depressed and so upset because the things inside of my wallet are so important to me. then i murmured inside of my mind asking God why it had happened like that. and that why He allowed that to happened. oh gosh so wrong for that. but then surrendered as i uttered, let things be done according to Your will, Lord. and that you alone who knows what is the best for me.
as i got home, i sought the red wallet in every corner of my room. i was eye-tearful as i found it. i was so ashamed of blaming God for what had happened. i just asked forgiveness and thanked HIM for being so good to me always.
what about you, did you had an experience like that?

People used to blame God for their downfall simply because he's the most easiest person to blame for. :)

very awful thing to do. we people do not tend to give our full trust to God. we should entrust whatever we have in HIM and learn to wait to might what happened in our life. our perseverance and faith should go together to achieve our goals in life. well, as usual, regretting do not come before doing a thing, always, it happened after doing a mistake.

I think we all hate bad things when they happen and wish they hadn't so we might be a bit upset and blame God since He has the power to prevent all bad things. Yes, and we are impatient and what things quickly. We are human and God is forgiving. We appreciate that!

We all need to learn to be patient and when we make a mistake, we should be humble and take the blame and not blame someone else, especially not our loving heavenly Father.

oh yes, we easily throw our tantrums and the worst thing that we are blaming God for a mistake we are to blame. whew! how is that? yeah, really, i need to change this act before feeling too oddest and the worst when conscience gonna strike me. i guess, we need to slow a bit to things we need to do and to wait what is next in line depending it all to God's manipulating power.

I always wonder why people can wait for the God to show the right thing in our lives. I think people including me gets frustrated not knowing sometimes bad things happen for the good in our lives. I think God always has a plan for us and loves us very much than anything in the world.

I'm like that also. I do things that I regret in the end. I hope i can do something on these things. That's why I'm doing my best to change those not-so- good habits that I have right now. That is to be more patient on things and not to blame anyone if things will end up as not favorable to me. i should be more humble also, have the humility to accept things that I cannot change. Good luck. Thanks

hi mikyung. yes, as sinners we need to admit that we committed sins at all costs. by this, we are being humble and God will pity on us and probably forgive ours sins. it is not really easy to resist to do wrong deeds. but all we need to pray to be guided and that even how hard the thing would be, God is just there at our side.

To many people blame god for everything. They need to start blaming themselves.

yes, agree with you dupremo. God gave us all like brain to think what the right thing to do. mouth to speak, eyes to see, hands to work and etc. He made us perfectly and almost the same as His appearance. but i guess, some like me is ungrateful to all of the kindness being given to us. well, human is human and we are so very weak to temptations and to make things righteously. well, our weaknesses are our vigour and our test to our limits. test of our faith and accepting HIM as HIM.
so thanks guys for the replies. :)

Well yes at time I do blame god for things, but never for anything that happens out of my own fault. If I lost my wallet out of my own carelessness, that is my own fault not gods problem.
However I will blame god for things out of my control, lets say heavy traffic on the road even though I left my house at 4 am so that I could arrive where I'm going early.

different feelings, yet, same actuations: blaming God for nonsense mistakes. gosh, how i wish it will not happen again because it is so wrong and very wrong. just praying cannot do it again at all cost. such temperamental person and one of my weaknesses.

this is every day happening in many houses. especially young boys and girls because they are confused-- they want to bite more than what they can chew..
Be calm, plan well ahead and go slowly. that is good. if you pester more then your BF may find it difficult to bear. same way if he pesters you will also find it difficult.

lols...
hmm... i guess my bf was more than anxious than me at that time. he blow his mind maybe he is the one who lost it and put it somewhere else. he even asked his mother and home-buddies if they saw it. but none of them had so. so i said, nevermind, maybe i just misplace it at home, probably in my room. so then, i sought it and just put it above the table. so happy and then feeling guilty for blaming God of my recklessness.
so thanks sir ravs :)

it happens to all human beings i guess. one time or another it does happen. When we can't blame anyone or our own self then we put it all on God. i hope you learnt you lesson to wait and trust in the Lord that he will not allow things like that to his children. i am learning my lessons too. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I have read in a psychology book somewhere that us humans undergo certain stages whenever faced with traumatic incidents. I think you were in the stage after denial but before bargaining. If I'm not mistaken it's the anger stage, I am not sure though what's it really called. Anyway, despite that it is no excuse for us to blame anybody most especially God whenever things didn't go our way. Things happen for our reason only He knows. Maybe He "lets" it happen because you are going to lose it on your way that's why He made you leave it at your bedroom, or you will see some fancy purse that you can't resist buying and you will end up buying it with all your money. Lots of reasons why but at least, you said you're sorry and you've learned your lesson, and that's the important thing here.
To answer your question, yeah I have blamed God a couple of times before as well. And I am not proud of it.

oh raine, who could tell that i lost the wallet at nowhere place where i cannot able to find it. but then, He helped me find it easily by putting it in my room. wow, well, there, that's the true essence of bargaining for that incident. oh yeah, always and ever we human took all the happiness and even forget HIM but when something wrong gonna happened throw all the odds to HIM. where is the justice. but i know God is so a loving and patient father to us. may we committed lots and painful mistakes, His arms is always wide open for us, ready to accept at all cost.
thanks there for the response

Well, I am an atheist and I too think I lost semething sometimes. And of course i always find my goods back and realize thatI was the one who left it there. I truly can't believe there is someone watching 7 billion people and taking care of THEIR personal belongings while the world is on fire.
