I am on duty now and i have 13 patients. One of my patients was crying because her boyfriend was killed by a stranger just in their neighborhood. The man was said to be very kind and generous as a neighbor that is why it was such a shock that he was killed. The worst thing is that he was slain due to mistaken identity. The killers thought that he was a drug dealer around the place. He was not. He just resemblea the real one. This is really a sad story. I dont know why people have to take the law in their own hands and most of the time, crimes are perpetrated to the wrong persons. Only God has the right to do this no matter how bad a person may be.. I hope justice will be given as soon as possible to the concerned people.

Killed due to mistaken identity- does it mean the killer was caught? This is very common nowadays, people killing, putting the justice on their hands- too bad. Sometimes we cannot blame those who put the law on their hands. I am not justifying such acts but some people doubted our justice system and we know the reason why. but, killing someone due to mistaken identity is not acceptable...never.

I agree with you 100% jaiho2009. I think the gut that killed the man because of mistaken indentity should have tried to find out if that really was the guy he was after before he killed him and maybe he shouldn't have taken the law into his own hands.

I feel bad for what had happened to the guy for he was just innocent and yet he was been killed just for mistaken identity. The killer should pay back for what he had done to the guy.Justice should prevail.

I am so sorry for that woman's loss and sorry that man was killed for something he had nothing to do with. It is a shame that some people think they have the right to take the law into their own hands. and i agree with everything you said in your post Mickzridge1116

I hope so too. Good people seems to be getting the worst luck these days. There was this old man living right adjacent to our apartment. He got robbed last week. His stuff was in his car including his spare oxygen and they all got stolen. What would a robber do with an oxygen tank?? That's just crazy..

Thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Well it was pretty disappointing to hear such disgraceful news and i think people have really gone crazy and are very much taking up the law into their hands. I do not understand why do people instead of being so much educated after even failing to distinguish people on the basis of their identity. I think justice will definitely prevail and the culprits will get their punishment very soon. What say?
