I downloaded an app for my tablet and it is called Camscanner. This is a very useful software. As you can use your tablet to take photo for the documents and then it will convert the photos into PDF scanned files. So I don't need to have a scanner now

I too use this app from my phone. Now I don't need to buy a scanner either. I usually get the file in image format. How do you get it in PDF? Maybe I'm doing something wrong!
Good day!

Youless, great you found another new and useful app again. I will try to search and download it since it is useful and handy. I like this type of handy app, where i don't have to bring my bulky scanner round in case i need to scan something. By the way, have you tried using it to scan real document and check out the result of it? Waiting for more info from you again...

I have never had my own personal scanner, I have had the use of one at work, to be honest the only time I have needed it was when I won a competition recently, to claim it I had to scan a document with my details on it, because I have no scanner I couldn't do it and so had to forfeit my prize. I told them to give the prize to charity it wasn't much a few dvds, I would have been upset if it had been money! I would like to scan some of my pics onto my computer, but it's not worth spending money for a scanner I am hardly going to use.

It is a wonderful software you have got, but have you ever tried to use it for a real scanning for a document? There have been so many gorgeous softwares that enable us to do more wonderful things we love to. Isn't it great! Have a good day, youless.

That's a good app. Once I get a tablet, I would also download that software. That would definitely save you from buying a scanner unless you really want a result with better quality. Thanks for sharing.

I also have a similar apps installed on my tablet. I use it to "scan" my receipts and file them in my hard drive. It is easy to use and very convenient as compared to using our flatbed scanner since my receipts are just the usual sized tape receipts.

I wonder if the same thing would be just as effective on a smartphone. I don't have a tablet, and I don't feel I need one with my iPhone, and my laptop. A scanner would be nice though.
