Hail has been poured upon our current president Benigno Simeon C. Aquino. But i wanna ask if you indeed have been affected by his projects and his work. Can you see something he has done in your place? I would like to emphasize his work. I can't help but compare him to former president Gloria Arroyo. I wanna talk about their work. A drug addict i know once told me that during last administration, the price of Methamphetamine jumped to more 200% in increase. That is because crackdowns on drug laboratories all around the country are conducted. Millions or billions of dollars worth of Meth we're confiscated during her time. Today, he said the price is within normal range and sometimes it goes well bellow standard price. That is one way Arroyo has affected the nation. Another point i would like to discuss is the fact that i see a lot of projects of Arroyo in our place. For example, we have 3 ambulances in our municipality alone and 2 of them came from Arroyo. If only we looked upon their performance, i don't see any harm in Arroyo leading the country. She might be a corrupt person but i wouldn't mind a president who steals but has an impressive performance in developing our country than a president who is saintly but does not affect our lives in any way.

Many people will not agree with you since President Aquino happens to enjoy popularity among the greater majority of Filipinos. What is given prominence is the graft and corruption committed by the previous administration although it remains to be proven. Now we look at the achievements of the present administration that they have been bragging about - GMA and CJ Corona. It is disappointing since the president is almost halfway his term. Poverty has remained to be rampant, the rates of criminality and theft has worsened. With the coming elections, every politician's attention is invested on winning another term of office if not for a member of the family. The Filipinos needs are simple, just 3 square meals a day and the peace of mind that they can sleep soundly within their homes. Have we gained this?

I think we shouldn't dismiss the fact the she did a lot of good things for the country. but just like Erap Estrada, she did terrible things too. I got a job during her administration. but no one should tolerate crook politicians no matter how good they are. if Richard Gordon becomes President and does the same thing i would hate him too

You should have PUT THIS IN THE PHILIPPINE interest because this area is mostly for US and international Politics.
as for your discussion, you can blame that on the MEDIA for siding with the Aquino once again. as I recall during the last election, they showed how the media sided with the aquino and over up all the hacienda luisita troubles.
I WON't and EVER Tolerate a PRESIDENT that steals. you will be like one of those who benefitted but doesn't care what happens if the other tax payer's money got stolen?!
If you say you wouldn't mind public servant stealing from us then YOU ARE ONE OF THE REASON why the country NEVER PROGRESS!
this was like Erap when he was doing impressive performance and stealing at the same time. also doing jueteng as well.
YOU DON'T TOLERATE a CROOK Politician, and i can tell you that despite that i voted for her i regret it now because her family stole a lot, threatened a lot.
this is like those people who believed that marcos was the best president because they benefitted from it! and forgot those other people who were not lucky in his administration. same goes with the arroyo, were like Lozada was not lucky enough in the hands of arroyo's henchmen.
