We are five employees in our department, one department head and four staff, my three other co-staff were detailed or reassigned to another department for we have no enough work load in our department. Last month my direct head resigned his position for the reasons that his salary were always slashed/delayed every month and now I'm alone on the office waiting for the new officer to be assign.

I think you'd need to find some other job opportunities if that's the case. If the salary is always slashed/delayed as well, there's no point working so hard for that type of a department or company. Look for opportunities while you're still young. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

I agree. If you're the only one there, chances are upper management are beginning to think of taking the whole department off the organization and re-assign you somewhere else, but of courses there's no assurance that your pay will still remain the same. Or worse, they might let you go because of redundancy or whatever it is they call when a certain department is no longer needed. Better do it while you still have your job and a paycheck; it would be impractical to give it up now though unless you already have another one waiting for you.

@laydee Thinking also that is the one reason why my boss resigned his position. @ Rainee38 thanks for your good comments and suggestion,

That must be so lonely and boring while staying in the office alone without any work. You must do something that will make your stay at the office enjoyable and useful.

You are right pahak627 I'm very lonely and boring at the office, in order to escape that, I joined the Employees Choral Group to be present this coming Christmas Season where I enjoyed practice every afternoon.
