Immediate & Extended Family

It's been a rough few years for me and my immediate family but we have stuck together and came through smiling because we know we will always have each other if we just continue the love and dont let the world get to us. As for extended family such as those that dont even call, write, or anything, the only thing they have ever wanted was for us to give to them when life turns sour for them so we did because after all...they are family but when we are down on our luck, they pretend they dont even know us. I am not going to try to get thier attention for the sake of love and family anymore though because it's just going to make me a bitter person and that's not what I want. If they truly love, they know where they can find me, It's not like I'm hiding. I'm going to be me, a very loving kind person who thinks that family is priceless no matter what but i'm not gonna go out of my way for thier attention. Be Happy and dont let it bug ya. life gives ya lemons, squirt somebody in the eye and laugh like crazy, life is too short to be miserable.

I think that it is good that you and your family have been working together to get through the hard times, because I honestly believe that this is the type of thing that family is for. I know that my family have had quite a tough year or so because of the economy, but we also have been able to remain together and I know that our bonds are even stronger now because of it. I just hope that we are going to be just as close in the future, because it is something that I have enjoyed even though it has been such a tough time for us all.

Hi lady! My husband would always tell my two children to love each other always because according to him friends may help them on the first, second time but only their family will always be there for all time. I also observe it with his sisters wherein, in any trouble that we go through, his family is always there in support of us.
