I'm cleaning the room, been doing it for awhile. Well I found some bears I wanted to put up in nets and my grandmother just happened to have some. I opened one package, go hang it up and put the bears in. Then I find another, do the same. When I got to the third one? It's the biggest net of them all. Oh well, I mean I'm still going to use it for my two biggest stuffed animals. Isn't that how it works though? I'll try to upload a picture of one of my nets of teddy bears.

I had some old fashioned teddy bears when I was a child. I had a big one and then two that were smaller. They were in a fire and were damaged. Hope you get some pictures uploaded.

around here, anything out is soon covered in cat fur, so I probably wouldn't put them up in my bedroom - in fact, I grabbed a swiffer duster and took a reacher and did a little dusting in my bedroom before I went to bed last night, everything gets so dusty and furry so quick! most of my stuffies are either put away or in the front room, I have a tall giraffe I got at a garage sale on a chest in my front room... I don't think anyone walking in the door would think I don't have a thing for giraffes!

You have a point there... we did get some of those chains with the clips on them and hung them up in the past, but I have moved rooms and the one I'm in wouldn't do very well with that arrangement...

I've had those before but it's been years. It's a cute way to hang up a few animals. If you wanted to display some and they were small enough you could get the display cases they have available in some places. I wouldn't know where to start looking, amazon maybe? but I think they are for almost beanie baby sized ones.

I'd be afraid to have them around cats, especially if some were younger and very... curious. I'd be afraid they'd think it was jungle gym time or the perfect place to sleep. I remember living with people who have a lot of cats, the cat hair was horrendous. If we were going for an interview it was take the lint roller with us to make sure we got it all. I have a small thing for bears, I think they are cute. If I could I'd collect a lot more but no place to put them so I don't.

Those pet nets were an awesome invention. It will be neat to have everything put up in them.

I've only got two more big stuffed animals to put up, but this will be the challenge to do. It's sort of in the middle of the room so I'll have to use a step ladder. It will be nice to have hung up and look really good when I get my futon out of layaway and replace it with my bed.

We need some of those nets. The majority of the poor stuffed animals around here are in a black trashbag in my craft room closet. They should be out where they can be seen, plus I can use the extra room in my closet in there. Marsha

They aren't easy to find in stores but walmart's do have them. I think even dollar stores do as well. I'm sure amazon does, but factoring in the tax and shipping, it'd only be worth it if you were getting something else with it. I'm glad I didn't have to go looking and that there was some available here. Mine were in a big bag just stuffed in there so glad they are free atleast and can be appreciated hanging up.

Hey cowgirl! That sounds like a really cool idea! I wonder if I'm too old to do that? Besides the fact that I can just see the bf's face. I had to put my "stuffed babies" away when he moved in. The only ones I have out are the 4 he's bought me. And of course, he just bought me a cute kitty one with holding a birthday balloon 2 weeks ago. It's cute, but I want to show my other ones too!

I don't think anyone is too old to showcase their stuffed animals. We never grow out of them, even if we've upgraded from the stuffed animals to a boyfriend to snuggle during the night.

wow they are cute, stuffed pets always have this special attraction in them , all age people like them and love to keep them in their rooms. i have two one on my cupboard and one always near my bed, hehe. I like to buy more, but the problem is its maintenance, when they become dirty and try to wash them they become life less, i mean all the charm goes away. Any other special care which can be taken for this?

I believe washing them say around every six months or so is good, but you can always refresh them with a fabric spray or linen water that will help keep them smelling fresh. If you have a washing machine the delicate cycle and cold water to keep them as delicate and soft as possible.
