I was cleaning up my stuff yesterday, and i found my diaries that i wrote when i was a little kid. I found it is interesting to read something from past. Diaries record everything happens to you, even just a very little bit. Its a good thing to write diaries everyday, when you get old, it would be a wonderful to read something like that, wouldn't it? But the thing is, writing diaries everyday is too hard, actually, insist on doing anything everyday is difficult. I don't think i can pick it up and start writing again, sorry, my dear diary...

I'm afraid I'm not that person who writes daily. I admit when i was younger, I didn't remember a day missed writing my daily journal. It's really nice to see those old journals, I envy you for you still have those items. Mine was washed out by the previous flood. But, I'm thinking now of writing my daily journal, for I want to have posterity for my kids in the future. Thanks

Back in high school I had a diary. I always make it a point to write something everyday. I write vivid description of how my day went, who were with me and how I felt that day. I had been writing on them for 10 years. The last entry on my diary was the day I gave birth to my first child.

Hi jenny, i admire that you could keep writing diary for 10years and obviously you always write something by heart. Can you imagine if one day your children get to read your diary, wouldn't it be wonderful?!!

When I was a child, I would always write diaries because I couldn't really speak to people and this was the only way that I could get all of my feelings out to somebody. I did feel as though they were very helpful at the time. Now that I have the internet, I will write a blog more than a diary, and I actually earn a fair amount of money through it because of the fact that people visit it regularly to see how I'm doing. I think that it is good to be able to look back at the things that you've said and done in the past because you can learn lessons from them.

Before marriage I write diary but after marriage not write but I write daily work on a paper because memory is weak and forget to daily work and note it on a paper to complete the daily task.

I remember I had a diary once when I was 15 when I received it as a gift. Unfortunately my brother has gotten hold of it and read it. Since then I never tried to have one ever again. But now, I have a journal app installed on my MacBook that is password protected. I don't write on it on a daily basis, only when I feel like writing something or un burdening my feelings. Basically whenever I feel like just having a silent listener. It helps a lot because I tend to look how mature I have become over time and how I handled stuff. Aside from having a sounding board, it helps me look at the situation from another angle because it just feels different when I am actually reading it.

Well,i agree that reading from past and getting those memories is something.Well,i do write diaries and have been doing so for last 13 years. It has been some ride so far.I do not use online things or for that matter use a single book to cover all things.I use the yearly diary and complete the things.I buy ones with big pages and each having a page for all days.I write whatever happens on a day and the different thought i had.It sometimes is tough to pen down things when you are too excited or too happy or too sad.I do take sometime to write those moments. But its easier when you are happy.I find it tough to pen the sad ones.I have been able to keep my diaries safe and secure from people's eyes especially from my friends and family. It is a challenge to do so for all these years.I do keep a ten minute period for writing diary. It also helps in keeping my habit of writing and also in case of handwriting.I also have been able to retain better memory of things once i started writing diary.I am loving my diary writing habit and it has been one habit which has stuck with me for long. Thanks!
