In This Year's CLT20, There are some Differences! 4 IPL Teams Auto Qualified! Only 2 out of 6 came from Qualification Round! India Had more Chance to win This, with 4 IPL Teams! but only one made semi final & lost it to highveld!
Sydney comes with young talent & won all maches! highveld are the same, just one mach lost to sixers! but how could 4 IPL teams couldnt make Final?

Exactly the point. With 4 teams IPL teams had the best chance to win this title. Instead only one of the 4 could actually make it to the knockouts. And in the knockouts they acquitted themselves poorly losing quite easily. On the other hand South African teams have played well with both their teams making the knockouts. Of course, the bounce in the South African pitches is something that IPL teams are not very much used to.
Cheers!

The condition there in southafrica suit all the teams apart from the sub-continental teams. Pace and bouncy wickets well suits Austrilan, Newzealand and SA teams. They adopt to the situation very quickly.
Delhi had good chance to make into final with their efficient pace attack but they failed mainly due to their batting collapse and also due to team selection. Jayawardne should have played that semi match.

I think most probably there need to be some changes made. First of all all the Indian players should be allowed to play the domestic matches of other countries. The reason IPL team does not make to the final is because of the pitches. I think most players do well in India and does not do well in pitches outside India.

I think the wicket in SA did not suit the IPL teams. I also think that they have too much teams in the CL T20 while other teams have to play qualify rounds to get into the main draw.
I think they must be a balance, not because the CL was a spin off from the IPL.
Looking forward to next yr.

The main reason behind this is the IPL players lacks a good background in T20 cricket. Check the statistics you will know. In india, they always play firstclass 3 day cricket. And the 15 international players play 95% of test and Odi while only 5% for T20.
