Felt disgusted!!

It's so disgusting when you are on the process of responding to a certain discussion when all of a sudden your pc hangs and you were unable to submit it and your response will just be lost. I was in the middle of my response to one of the discusions that catches my attention when my laptop just hang and sad to say my response got lost:( I was so interested with the topic and I was just caught by it and I had so much thought suppose to share.. Aarrghh!! Now I will going to do it again..:(

It is truly frustrating when something like that happens. I try to remember to copy my response before I try to post just in case the page doesn't reload properly or in case something disrupts my connection.

I vaguely remember experiencing that. I think what I used to do was type my response somewhere else so I wouldn't lose it. You can't paste at all?

Good for you Canellita because you already have the priviledge to do copy paste. As for me, Im still so far from that 500 posts for me to be able to do copy paste. I am left with no option but to do it gain.. KInda frustrating really but I have to bear it.

Oh don't worry and don't let it bother you too much. I'm sure you are not the only person who have experienced something like this. I, for one have had my share of irritating moments where I had to redo my work because of similar cases. The important thing is we go back to doing what we enjoy and do it good.

Your right Choybel. I should not dwell too much on it. It happens already. Im pretty cool about it now. I was just so pissed off when I wrote about this discussion. Now I know I am not the only one getting annoyed about it. Your definitely right, get back to can make us happy.

I have been having the same problems along with some others.. I wrote a simlar discussion about this last week.. There is something going on with internet explorer, the original internet browser if you are using Windows.. One suggestion is to close down all of your windows and clean out the "internet cookies" and restart the computer.. Less likely to do it for a while.. Oh. I have already experienced that situation when I am still new here on myLot, but now, I have passed 500 post mark and so, I can copy paste all that I write from notepad to myLot. Yeah.. its so frustrating.

Wow..good for you. Coz on my part even if lets say I will copy it to a word document, it won't allow me to paste it here so it's nonsense that's why i don't make drafts. I wrote spontaneously. I express whatever thought is running in my mind that very moment i read about a particular discussion. It's really frustrating:(

You must reach 500 posts before you can copy and paste it here on myLot. Ha ha

I really don't like to make drafts. I consider it a waste of time especially that I am not allowed to do copy paste yet. So when it get lost all I can do is to say..arrgghh!! and in a blink of an eye my ideas get lost as well.. How pathetic but it happens.. Well.. we cannot control all things.

It also happens to me once when I used a public computer. The power went out and when it resumed, my response which I was about to upload was lost.
As of now, since I can do the copy paste method, I do not worry about it that much. Continue participating and when you reach 500 you will be able to copy paste also thereby less burden on your part.

Yes Aries,, coz right now I am not allowed to do copy paste yet. Im just kinda new here so Im still far from that 500.. Especially that I dont really have ample time to chekc Mylot daily because of my job.. Hope I will reach it though.:). Im inlove with this site so I should be able to do so..

Hi,
Many times I have faced this problem. we also have network problem or power failure problems many times. It is very annoying that we are responding some discussion, typed many words and suddenly there is a network problem or power failure. I have to type it and post it again. Sometimes I had posted same responses for three times by writing again and again and posting again and again. Really it is very irritating.

That's right. It's not just irritating and disgusting. It's also a waste of time when you have to repeat it again. Instead of alloting that time of reposting it to another discussion, you will stuck with that same discussions. Sometimes, i get mad and would no longer response to the same discusiion. It disgusts me that much.

Hi friend, i too faced this kind of situation plenty of times due to sudden power cut, system problem and so on. Luckily some times i will get the reply due to browsers auto save options, but some times i don't get the reply back and my typing work is lost

Oh still good for you since you have this auto save options even if it's not applicable all the time. Still this will be a bit help. As for me it's totally nothing. I don't have the choice but to re-do it or worst I wouldn't care respond no more. Well we can't do anything but to work on it when it happens. Really, we cannot control everything.
