I am gaining weight

Its so sad that suddenly I am gaining weight I want to stay slim forever and I don't want to change all the size of my clothing, I wish I can do better not to eat a lot, get up early and do work out, and I wish also to acquire elliptical machine so that even in a bad weather I can still burn more calories and not gaining weight

I to would like to lose weight, but I really do love myself and
I will work on it as much as i can...I have a problem because
I am not taking medication which come with weight gain...But
I am not going to worry about that either...I am phat not fat..LOL.
I really don't eat a lot but neither do I eat the right foods on
a regular...my blood pressure is good, my sugar is good and my
colestorol is good..im not going to worry about it,,,
But if you can still exercise inside even with bad weather..you
just have to really commit yourself..having expensive machines
might very be helpful but surely not necessary...

Have you tried walking and drinking lots of water?? I know a few gals here who have lost pounds that way. They walk 2-3 miles a day, and drink 6-8 glasses of water. Try it.

Well, we can't really stay slim forever, not all of us anyway. Bodies change over time, and so do metabolisms. Staying a healthy weight is very possible though, and you don't need an elliptical machine to do it. Most of us have all the tools and knowledge we need to be healthy at our disposal, the only thing standing in our way is ourselves, our own resistance and apathy. I don't say this to discredit anyone's weight struggle, you are a tough enemy for you to beat. But you can burn more calories and stop gaining weight. Move more, walk in place, take the stairs, dance while you brush your teeth, take the parking space that's on the far side of the lot. Eat healthy, eat fair sized portions. Take an apple instead of chips. Go for a turkey sandwich instead of a burger. It all boils down to daily mind over body decisions.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your feelings very well and i think u should not worry about your weight increase because we all face such issues in our lives also. What u need to do is to fix up your mind properly that u will work hard from today to do all possible stuffs which will help u reduce your weight, u should promise to do it on a daily basis and i am sure u will get back your original figure in no time.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this. A lot of weight losing ways are available now, do any one of them to lose your excess weight. Follow the good diets and do some good exercise to reduce the unwanted weight. All the best

Since I have gotten heavily involved with the computer I have had a hard time with my weight. I have gained a lot, and I find it hard to lose any weight. It is a very sedentary lifestyle.

I stress eat. The first quarter of the school year I gained almost 15 pounds. I am doing better now that I have isolated what is stressing me out the most and am able to address it. I have taken on a second job(added stress because of time issues, but also a stress reducer because it takes away some of the financial stress, and my job is phsyical). I am starting to shed a few of those pounds, but with the holidays right around the corner I know that a few of the pounds will come back.

terrible is when we tend to gain excess weight because we have to change the size of our clothes and feel comfortable.
so totally feel for you so that you are going.
Just relax and do not think so because it affects everything in your body your nerves and your thoughts and feelings to your health.

Hi! In a way, you're doing the right thing by identifying that there is something wrong going on. Now you'll need to start turning those wishes into reality.
If I may suggest a few things....try writing down what you are eating and the calories it has (or if there is another element that you are trying to watch out for). If you're able to, try to make some adjustments such as a healthier sugar and switch butter for something better. If there is something you can't change and honestly cannot do without, get a workout in and if needs be, walk vigorously, workout with someone, or see if there is a local gym that will work with you. Over time, you should see some results and you should feel better in having done so.
Whatever you choose to do you will have to do some readjustment in thinking and change some habits. Give it some time and do re-evaluate periodically. Also, if you're likely to be going to a few parties, try to have some fruit beforehand.

oh em gee... like you, i want to reduce and become slim again for i am this a chubby type person. hmpt, but as usual in a time i was reducing but in a later of it, i do gain much more weights. it is because i am lazy to have workouts. gee. when would this gonna happened, i mean exerting or spacing some time 30 minutes to one hour for workouts.

Hi,friend.I am facing the same problem with you.My standard weight is 65Kg and now I am 73Kg.I tried some methods but cann't insist,then became more and more fat.And i am still on the way to lose weight hoping it has effect

Don't look at gaining weight as a negative thing because it has some serious impact on your health. Instead, make a target weight goal that you want to reach and start changing your lifestyle habits one by one.

Stop Stop airkulet . You are thinking too much to reduce weight. I weighed nearly 72 kgs 6 monthas ago whereas my ideal weight for my long height should have been 65 kgs. Without panicking much, I started with a routine and ended up at 69 kgs after 10 days and now I am 66kgs which is close to my ideal weight. I can tell you everything you need to know on this aspect. Would you like to know it?

Airkulet I can't see you anywhere. But let me give this information that might help others too. Take little amount of food every 3 hours, empty stomach causes fat. If you think working out is tiresome, just spend 2 minutes skipping followed by 3 minutes running or jogging. Repeat this 3 times. It reduces fat dramatically very fast. And avoid eatables that are sugary.

No problem my friend, it never late to start anything. Take food on small quantities and try walking in the morning and evening ,i am sure it will help you.
