Inchallah you will do well with the Islam religion. May I ask what you started to read first? My husband and my son are Muslim - hamdullah, but I am not. I love the religion, but I want to feel it completely with my heart and there are just things I don't agree with, this is due to a Christian upbringing. For those that immediately say Muslim = terrorist, should really stop watching so much tv and the media driven hate for Islam. This is where its gone wrong, if on the news a Muslim has done something, instantly they say 'a Muslim...'. But the Christian bloke down the road that just murdered someone is just ' a guy in such and such was found guilty of...' No mention of his religion though!! The media drives terrorism to Muslims, not the Muslim. All religious people make wrong.

Wa'alaikumsalam kimte MashaAllah that is what I meant. You not knowing how to explain tells me that it is something super special. I am a born muslim. Although I do start feeling love for Islam, I have always taken it for granted, one of it is being lazy to carry out obligatory Islamic practices. Let me try describing. Is it like falling in love? Everything seems bright and happy?

assalam u alaikum wa rahematullahi wa barkaatahu. i am Rabiullah khan and i am glad to see you, also i need to say you something before i proceed to give you important things to obey, i need to know from where you are? also one most important thing is just remember that when your faith is powerful, you deeds will be effective. also there are many things which motivate yourself and help you to obey with more faith. this will make your trust towards almighty and most merciful allah. he is only the one creator of all(whole universe). may be others may obey almighty allah with other names, but truth is one and the same. i can give you many of examples(thousands of examples). also you mention about 5 times prayer, do you know why we prey five times a day? also do you know basic things about islam? please ignore my mistakes if i done any? have a nice day and may almighty god bless us.

Hello kellysbarefoot I am a muslim and I am very touched by your response. I sincerely hope that you will feel Islam completely with your dear heart. May I ask what it is that you do not agree with? I am just being curious. I am not an expert on Islam. Maybe if I have the answer and if you want me to, I will tell you what I know but at the same time I do not wish to promise you anything. I do not know what it is about me. My husband will say I am being busybody. Once I saw a lady who looked lost and when I asked if I could help her, i had to tell her i did not know where the place she was looking for either. I was lucky she didnt get angry. But I am still nosy...

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmathulllah. May Almighty Allah help you to be right in the path of the creator, and to be stead fast in life without compromising the right path. Of course there will be lot of hardships in the transition, you can remember the hardships of prophets. Once you trust in Allah and pray to Allah everything will become easier. May Almighty God help your nears and dears and other mylot members to understand the message of the creator. Peace.

Previously, I was also not Muslims. Now, I was sure to be a Muslim. I learned about Islam, from the book, ask the people, and of course from Al-Quran. There is still a lot I needed to learn. I learned slowly, so I'm not mistaken in understanding. You, too, must learn slowly, so you are not confused, and really understand.

I'm technically a Christian (in the same way that some people are "half-Jewish" etc., and in terms of 'that is the position I want to take in life---Child of G-d, paid back into the G-d family by Big Brother Jesus). But I'm currently more of a Nichiren Buddhist---in the way that "all religions are Buddhism." I'm reviewing all the religions I can in order to get all their causes-&-effects filtered-out & stuff. The Quran tells me that Abraham (father of all three religions) was neither Christian nor Jew---not "warshed in the blood" nor "led by the law"--but that he WAS 'Muslim' (in that he simply surrendered his will to Allah). I've not yet rehd the Jews' Tanakh, but I have of course rehd the Gospel; and it tells us that Jesus' defining act was marked by His prayer to Allah saying "I would like to let this cup pass from me; but let not my will, but thy will be done." Total submission. Islam. But He didn't just talk about it. He actually did it, showing us how to deliver our message---live it!

How would you do good to entire mankind by islam? Better read the books of SYED ABUL ALA MOUDUDI and watch regularly PEACE TV to know more about Islam. You may search the books of that great writer. All books of that writer are great.
