I lived for 11 plus years at the worlds gambling capital Las vegas Nevada. I played bingo a few times there. But I never really gambled. Its hard enough to make it in life. But to gamble ones hard earned dollars away. Thats not for me. Do you gamble at casinos?

When you think about how many hours you have to work for each dollar or ten dollars you really do not turn loose of it that easily, or at least I do not. I have other things to do that are more fun than gambling and at least then I know I get something for my money.

I gambled in a casino a few weeks ago there's a casino close to where I live and a few friends wanted to go.So I decided to go with them as I like a lot of my friends had never really gambled before and some of them had never been to a casino before. We won't be going there very regularly though as we haven't got the money to be losing, though luckily I came back with most of the money I went with and it made a nice change from going out to nightclubs. The best bit of the casino was being able to have a quiet drink.I think were going again soon but like last time I won't gamble much.

I played poker several times but never in a casino yet, just in home games. My friends and I have this motto though, "It's only gambling when you're losing" and this is our general perspective in poker, since poker is a mind-game. Anyway, I do agree with you though, it's hard enough to make it in life, and to gamble with hard-earned cash with the greater chance of losing it all than just winning some is really a nonproductive and unwise move. However, I still want to experience playing poker in a casino.

It makes me wish sometimes that people who lose their money in gambling and still find it entertaining should just donate it to the poor or maybe to me.
At least they would have done something good with it, rather than make casino owners richer.

Sure is, we make a few dollar son line or at our jobs. And in 1/2 hr. someone loses hundreds at a casino. Not for this girl.

As you stated, things are hard enough without throwing away money you will never see again. If you look at it as entertainment and you go with a friend to have a drink and play at one of the machines, maybe you can say it is just for fun, as long as you aren't spending more than $10 or $20.

I only gamble a little when I`m on vacation at a place where they have casinos. I don`t gamble at home or even in my country. It`s easy to get addicted and gamble your hard earned money. I loved Las Vegas the 2 times I went there, but would not like to live the as there are too many temptations.

The food at Vegas an Atlantic City is awesome and very cheap. It`s one of the ways they have to keep people in the casinos

I loved vegas, for the food at the casinos. Not for the gambling.

Gambling has never been anything to me. Those people that gamble all their money away are addicts. it is not good. And remember, there is no casino in this world that wants you to win. The odds are always stacked against you.

I avoid gambling. I have gone a few times to casinos with friends, just for fun. I really only gambled a few dollars. Other than that, I don't feel like it's a good thing to do with my money and I find it stressful because you could lose so much money.

I gamble at casinos only occasionally. I have casinos within a 10 minute drive near where I live in South Florida. I am from Southern California originally and we used to go to Las Vegas all the time. I never gamble very much when I do go. I know what you mean about wasting money gambling it away. I figure you can't win if you don't play, but I don't go overboard when I do go.
Anyways, I live near casinos but it's probably been at least a year since I last went to one.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Whenever I am on a foreign holiday I make it a point to experience that which is a specialty of that country. While I was in Las Vegas I gambled a bit. It was fun. We were put up at a 5 star hotel and there was a casino there. The amount was very small but the thrill was big! We spent some evening hours at the Fremont Street watching the sky canopies lit with smashing grandeur and on that Street there were countless casinos.
I have a virtual casino. I go there too but not for real money.

Now in las vegas almost every casino has even penny or one cent machines. So one way or another they get your money. Take care.

I had been in the past . you got to know when to quit and when to set a limit how much to spend and not go over..people lose alot in casinos and Bingo if they pay. It is an enjoyment to play and win but they are going to make money and will make money ..that is why they are there to greed people from theirs to help themself, but it is the people's own fault if they choose to let that happen..

Well said, but many gamblers dont know when to stop. They keep thinking they are going to win. Right till their last pull of that slot machine.

Life is a gamble in it's self! I did gamble one time with a friend. I took $50 just for gambling. Spent all but about $1.25, then my friend bought me my lunch, because it was my birthday. So after lunch, she wanted to gamble a little bit more before we headed home. I figured I only had $1.25 left. I ended making my $50 back plus $25 extra. From that day on I decided I wasn't going to do any more gambling that was just luck that day!

That's why I quit while I was ahead! Never gambled again, because I knew I wouldn't probably be that lucky again!

Gamble and me. Never. I work too hard for my money throw it away at a casino. Casino's are one of the most profitable businesses there are out there and I will not contribute to their profits.

Just like you, for me money is too scarce to gamble. My husband has commented that the few times he has played the lottery he just figures it is a donation to the state fund or whatever. I know you have to play to win, but if it involves giving money away I have better causes to donate to. So no, I do not gamble at casinos or anywhere else.

Hes right, a dollar here or there in the lottery is more of a donation.

We should try to avoid gambling our money at casinos, or for that matter, any other form of gambling like sports betting and the like. Only a few win, most lose. Yes, I've gone to casinos before here in my country, and I usually play baccarat. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. I was there for fun. But I've seen a lot of lives ruined by this, and I think it would be best if people could refrain from this vice.

I do enjoy going to casinos, but I can't afford it anymore. When I was working, hubby and I used to vacation in Atlantic City once in a while. We had 'vacation money', and a certain amount set aside for gambling. When it was gone, we stopped. I just loved walking around the beautiful hotels and casinos, listening to the entertainment, and people watching. I kinda miss it. I think its about 50/50 concerning losing and breaking even. I don't regret the money I lost. It was fun.

I never been had interest to gamble and even casinos.I can see a lot of gamblers and it sad that they gamble their life away.
It is enjoyment for the time being but in the long run.Its just gambling the things we had and no chance to win it back.
