my previous discussion is about an office mate that annoys me, Now about an internet troll that annoys me. In a message board that is not mylot (its not a paying site so dont ask me what website I am talking about) This internet troll annoyed the whole board and alienated so many members of the community that they quit, everyone had been begging the admins and moderators to please ban this jerk but they dont listen. the board use to have 20,000 members and I had been a member there since I was 13 years old and I am 27 now. So that s really a warm and friendly community until that person decided to register and troll like there is no tomorrow. I had been reporting that person for a year and the admins dont ban that person and I am not the only one reporting him. That message-board lost members who where there since their childhood because of that troll who just joined last year.
the sad thng though, the damage is done, from 20,000 active members its dropped to 28. if those lady admins only dd their job that messageboard would have not died. Well its still having threads but there is like 28 of us. The admins did apologized but the damage is done. Imagine a 16 year old community to be ruined by just 1 troll,

Shame on the admin and moderators of that message board! Instead of just getting rid of this one troll, they lost nearly all of their active members because of that. Is this "troll" so powerful that the admin and moderators have no power to evict him from the site? Is he so influential that the admin and moderators succumbed to his "influence"? I am amazed, but apparently the admin and moderators are not doing their job and just licking the shoes of this troll. You are right, the damage is done, and it will be hard to convince those who have left to come back, especially if the troll is still lurking on the message board. I salute you though for still being on the message board despite possibly being tormented by the troll. You must have a really high tolerance level.

The troll is like an obsessed mental case, He is banned before but he keeps on coming back, which make members so sick of hi.Now his IP address is blocked and everyone from his city is blocked and things have improved. I knows it sounds discriminatory to ban his whole city but he goes in different cyber cafes so he can do multiple accounts.

Wow, this is really a mental case then! This is like a fatal attraction sort of situation, where he is hell bent on trolling on this message board until his last breathe. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually migrated to a different city just to troll again on the message board. I wonder what's so attractive about this message board that makes him still want to go back there to troll even though he is banned. I'm really really curious to find out how the mind of a psycho works.......

he is a sexist and misogynist bully who attacks all of the girls in the board,Then when we tried to defend the girls he is attacking, he accused everyone of being feminist. Thats not all, he accused everyone of being homophobicc because everyone is ganging up on him and listed down all of his alternate accounts. But people are ganging up on hm because he is harassing the girls in the board. then he flooded the discussions with pictures of shirtless men and men in underwear, The first 3 pages of the board are like locked threads. Admins lock his threads but they dont ban him. This is a videogaming community so everything he is forcing on everybody has nothing to do videogames.

Wow! That's a lot of members to lose. How bad was this troll? Was he so bad he couldn't be ignored? What were the admins thinking? How could they ignore the situation? That's really terrible. But I see you stuck it out, Capt. Is the troll gone now? Maybe some of the members will come back, hopefully. I'm sorry to hear about it, though, because you seem to have liked it very much, having been there for so long. Kind of like your own neighborhood that you grew up in. It's very sad that someone like that guy could destroy practically a whole message board just by being a jerk. Well, you still have mylot. Although I know it's not the same. I'm glad to see you back once in a while. As soon as I see your little dancing avatar I perk right up! It's my favorite avatar, you know.

I developed my english communication skills on that board, and i grow up as member of that board even facebook, twitter and mylot is born.as you see I never left it and its really crushing the admins are lazy, they apologized for the damage that troll has done., I do hope people will comeback. Admins need to IP block that person. so he will never return.

You learned well. Your English is very good. Maybe you should suggest that they IP block him. They don't sound like they're very proactive about keeping the site very clean. There have been trolls in mylot, I'm sure you know. But admin here, from what I've read, dispatches them quickly.

Hi captain
I can very well understand your affection and addiction to such a community. It is sad though that due to the others not doing their duty right, the site is now crawling with only 28 of its gems.
A business idea? Try contacting the admins and see if they can sell it off and maybe once you get the control you can be the admin and retry to recreate the site as it was during its glory!

I have a typo, the admins are not "lady" I mean lazy. LOL I dont think I can change this person, wll just keep everything professional and I will do my job and look after my subordinates but yeah wll give my best to tolerate this person. The adins are trying to make a damage control after the exodus happens.

I had the same issue with a guest blogger on a certain blog that I frequent. This commentator hasn't been banned yet but I think the admin are more than willing to ban him and he will cry foul. The thing is, he's a good and well-minded person but many of us (even those who didn't pick a side of the issue or the admin), I believe that he is wasting time arguing with other commentators and the admin itself. I don't know if he wants to mess with people but if he really can't stand the site or the issues, he should just get out. He even annoyed when he annoyed when he fail to get the idea that every comment or presses to his x comments or answers. That's the reason why I don't comment on him anymore.
We don't have to agree but not seeing the point of the issue can rile up anyone.

I think this person is jobless, he and his multiple accounts are like on the site 24/7 and all of his alternate accounts says the same thing, types the same way and always agree with each other. People are not dumb to realize they were the same person. Members are back to 500 when people found out he is gone for real and everyone had never been so happy. Hope the community will be back on its feet.

I think they ban the person before but this person kept on coming back for some unknown reason. Now they finally decided to make an Ip block.
