one of my friends have just got a kitten but they also have a cat but a few years ago they got two kittens but kept the cat they still have but the two kittens they put in a cats home a few years ago because they couldnt afford to keep the two kittens but yesturday the daughter got a kitten would you go and get a kitten if you cant afford one in the first place cause i know i wouldnt of done it

No! not a tall and to me it makes nonsense doing something like that you can't afford one in the first place so why go and get it... i wouldn't have done something like that as well...

I would never get a pet unless I could feed it, neither would I let anyone in my house.A pet is for life, not a short term thing, as most cats that I have owned have lived until they are nearly twenty and the vets bills are rather expensive as well.
I hate to hear that people have put their cats or kittens in a cats home, as that is one thing that I would never do.

No, I would not have got a kitten if I could not afford to keep it, as it seems to me that it is unfair to the kitten.
I feel that there are a few people that get kittens and then get fed up of either looking after them, or the child gets bored of them and that will also end up in a cats home.
I never buy things that I can not afford and would never buy a pet that I could not afford to look after in the long term.
