when we kiss someone why we close our eyes ?

hi actually i feel that when i kiss my love i and she also closed their eyes.dont know why.sometime i tried to open my eyes but some in moment eyes closed itself. so i want to know why it is happen.

Maybe because it's hard to keep eyes open when something is in very close proximity to them. Like if dust are coming toward our eyes, for instance, we'd automatically shut our eyes. On another subject, I think we always close our eyes too when we sneeze.

I'm far from a science student... I think it's more of common sense and nothing scientific about my response... What do you think about closing eyes while sneezing? It's for our own good; I heard they could pop out if we are not conditioned to close them while sneezing.

Yeps, the eyes could actually pop out even while kissing, what with the heightened emotion and the excitement of the moment. Some say, they can't stand the face of their partner being so near so they close their eyes but the your explanation seems logical enough. When something comes in close proximity to our eyes, we tend to close them or squint at least, it is a reflexive action to protect them from harm.

Well, it's hard to kiss each other with an open eyes :p have you ever tried kissing your partner with your eyes open wide? I think it is possible to kiss with eyes open- but I don't think there is passion in there.

yes i tried to kiss with open eyes to my love but after in a few second eyes close itself .i forget that time all the things .

I think kissing is the sweet and romantic thing. We tend to close our eyes when we feel so. Such as if you are enjoying a nice dish, you will also close your eyes. I think this is a natural response.

I think because love is felt with eyes closed. Try to think of it. Blind ones feel more than ordinary person. Their sense of touch is magnified as well as their other senses. Maybe that also happens in terms of kissing. When you open your eyes when you kiss, you can't feel any love at all, just a simple touch on your lips. When your eyes is closed, you feel more than just kissing. It is more of passion. Also, when eyes closed, your can hear your heart beat as well as your partners. That makes the situation more intense and more passionate.

I guess you close your eyes because it feels you are being so vulnerable to your partner and it feels much sweeter and better. I think that is how I feel.

hi, actually i always close my eyes when i kiss my partner i don't know why but i think when i close my eyes i will feel more the love of my partner,and aside from that its not good if our eyes are open when we kiss someone on the lips.maybe i can also feel more his lips too if i close my eyes.
