Kindle on iphone

Lately I've been hooked on reading books on my kindle. I try the free books first and I enjoyed a lot. Reading anywhere without having thick books on your hands or bags etc. Yesterday I search the book Divergent by Veronica Roth on amazon and I was tempted to download it for $11. Little pricey compared to paperback books. But the fact that it was delivered few minutes after ordering makes me so amazed. And addicted to ordering more...so bad! I haven't read the Divergent yet but again I ordered Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. How about my fellow mylotters do you prefer ebooks? And I'm happy if you can suggest more interesting ebooks.

I love the convenience of reading ebooks too. And you never have to worry of torn yellowed pages just make sure you back up your books too in case something happens. But reading physical books is still fun too. I love the smell of paper specially if it's a new book and it feels different somehow. Either way I love reading books! I'm a bit confused with the title of your discussion though. Do you mean to say you read them on your iPhone using the Kindle app or do you read them on your Kindle tablet? But what was the iPhone thing about if it's the latter?

I only have iphone so it's the kindle app I guess. I don't know kindle tablet sorry. I'm really new in this apps. And thanks for the info...I don't know how to back up my ebooks. Isn't it saved in my amazon account? Or do I have to save it somewhere?

Yeah it should be saved on your account. And if you have a computer and iTunes then you can back up all your files so if you have problems with your phone you won't have to re-download them all including your Kindle App and the ebooks. You'll jst need to resync. A Kindle tablet is like an iPad but smaller.

If we talk about easy to handle. I prefer ebooks cause you can bring it anywhere and read on it anytime considering the available technology that we have today. For the existence of iphones, smarphones and the like. But when we talk about just purely reading i prefer books that I could hold on. Makes me feel that I am really part of the story, it makes me feel I am really on it. Well that is me. Happy reading my friend.

Same idea what my mom says. Also she told me you can forget to bring your books with you but not your iphone. If you have your iphone you can still read your books. But mom prefers reading holding the books and the habit of using the bookmark lol.

Well, I just answered a similar discussion about reading books. So just start to tell you that I, of books in my life so far, I've only read two, mandatory at school. So far I am referring to the year 1997, when there were no ebooks. If you like to read, do you care if you paid $ 11 an electronic book? Your greatest satisfaction, in my opinion, is the possibility that you have to read it. You know, reading various discussions here on Mylot, I am pleased that people like to read books. So i think that I'm not passionate, I feel a little estranged.

For me reading can help me forget anything that bothers my mind. I can take a moment to stop thinking and finding solution to my worries. And sometimes I am carried away with what I'm reading. I laugh and cry alone LoL...If the story is really interesting I don't care too much about the price.

There were certain books that I prefer to have on an actual, physical book, like the classics. There are others that I want to be in my Kindle app which I can lug around wherever I go in a very convenient way. Most of those ebooks are those the fictional, series ones. I also have the Kindle app in my iTouch because I also got addicted with it.

thanks Raine...you're right very convenient. Also after reading your books doesn't occupy space on your bookshelf. I agree with you I like actual books especially those books I loved so much and believe to read it again when I get old. But because of so much excitement I like ebooks lately.
