Oh i hate this lol if i have one weakness and i feel silly for it, i fall for a book's character lol i would like think about it and think of it in the end again and again hahaha which i do not tell hubby because he would say i am silly and he does not like me reading again and again as he knows i space out everytime i am reading hahaha!
Anyways i was reading The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer over the weekend, i did not choose the book i came and stumbled upon this one again online while searching for a book to read and it was nice and i just do not like how it ended..which i was thinking over and over again
to my surprise it was a trilogy and a third book is coming.. the one i read was the second book...oh well i will wait for the third book to see how it ends.

I don't think I've ever fallen for a character in a book, but there were a few times that I've imagined I was the character. I would even superimpose my face. It's silly, I know. But I guess that's one great thing about books. It's some sort of virtual world that we could be a part of.

Well, in my experience, I want to be honest right now, I've only read two books in my life. These books, I had to must-read them when I was in school.
I remember one of them who spoke to a woman at the time of fascism in Italy, with a foregone conclusion. I knew that it was not a real thing, but a made-up story, I have not identified with the character, even when the end came the tragic ending.
Perhaps if I read books taken from true stories, surely I would be more identified with the character, both his joys, which in his pain.

Lol, its nice that you can get so lost in a book that you fall in love with a character. I can't say that has ever happened to me. Maybe the next time you fall in love with a character. Like for example maybe a prince from the 1600s you can convince your husband to dress up for you? lol....yeah I'm sure that wouldn't go over very well.

You remind me of my highschool days my dear.
I really fall in love with Nancy Drew
Goodness- every weekend I need to bribe our librarian so she may allow me to borrow more than 3 books (maximum) especially when there's new Nancy Drew edition coming

That is normal. We are only human being who falls for a character in a book or in a movie or in a tv series, he he he Don't worry. You are not the only one, but in my case its different. Hmmm... my secret is I fall for a character in a movie which is a CGI 3d animated movie from Japan... wa ha ha ha
What can I do? CGI 3d male character is so handsome even though they are fictional character Imagine Claud Strife and Reno from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.

Jazel_Juan, I come to your discussion to make a confession .
I, actually I have fallen for a character in a book or two books .
It's because the author describe the character very well and somehow I find the similarity between the story and my life, that's how I fall...no...I mean obsessed with the character . I found that the character reminds me to someone in real life, the other character reminds me to myself. Sometime I imagine the story is about my life.
I've been flooding my FB with my obsession to this character...hahaha...it's really weird but some people in my FB do enjoy my update, so I guess I'm not the only one who fall for a character.
