I have 2 extra phones aside from the one I am using for communication. Last week, the first one didn't turn on anymore after I finished charging it. I really don't get it why it happened. The next day after the incident, my second phone also didn't work when I try to open it after I reset the phone. I am so confused right now. I can't use it already especially now that I needed it the most.
Do you have any idea why it happened? I hope you guys could share your own experiences and also your advises on what to do.
Thanks a lot mylotters!

Try to remove the battery and again install it in the device. If the hardware does not solve your purpose, then there is something wrong with it. If there is any hardware problem, then you can visit the place where the problem can be fixed.
If the problem is still under warranty period, it is better to return it with relevant issues.

Charging your phone for a long hours of time after when it shows a message, " your phone is fully charged " is really bad for the phones. Too much of charging will lead to lose it's display. Such an incident has happened to my phone due to over charging. I think your phone lost it's display.

It's hard to lose a thing so important to you. So by doing simple yet very important task, we can avoid losing it from us. I see to it that I check time by time if the phone is already fully charged. That way I can protect my cellphone. Not just phones, I guess other devices must be taken cared of in order also to last.
Happy new year my friend thewonderboy! :D

maybe if they were old phones, the batteries needed completely recharged or the batteries no longer work.
I know I held onto a phone for a long time and when I tried to turn it on to retrieve pictures out of it, it wouldn't turn on because of the battery.

Hi cearn25,
Are all three phones of the same type and model? If so you should confirm that the problem is not with the batteries by putting in the good battery to check. Sometimes one tends to overlook the most obvious solution. It'll be such a shame to throw away the phones if it's only the batteries that are faulty! Replacement batteries are relatively cheap if you know where to get them.
Anyway if the batteries are not of the same type then I suggest you get hold of a multimeter and check the voltage and see if it's OK. If not then you've either got a bad battery or your charger is not working. Sometimes a faulty charger can destroy a perfectly good battery!
The thing is you need to resolve this issue by a process called elimination.
Happy trouble shoting.

No. Actually one is Nokia and the other one is Samsung. I haven't tried to put another battery of each phone but maybe I'll try that later but the problem is I don't have any other extra batteries. I'm not thinking of throwing it away because it is not practical. I will find a way to make it okay. I just hope it will not cost me money.
Thank you very much Succeednow for the great help! I'll take note of that.
Keep smiling!

I had this happen once. Company told me to take battery out for 10 mints. Put back in and try. It worked for me. Worth a try. have a great day there.
