Hi, mylotters,
I joined oDesk last night and i was confused directly. I think the steps to be oDesk job seeker is so complicated and so confusing. My English is not too bad but i was so confused and didnt know what to do when i was on oDesk last night. There are so many information we should write and i really dont get how this site works (i know that oDesk helps job seeker and contractor to meet and then work as team). how about you mylotters, do you join oDesk? can you give me tips or tricks in dealing with this site? i have a lot of questions actually but i am so confused that makes me speechless..

I am an oDesk member and almost all my online earnings are from oDesk. I can reveal that I also didnt pass the oDesk ready test the first many times, but it is possible to pass it.
I can recommend you to follow the guidelines for the test, I think it tells you to read some information about oDesk, once you have been reading this I am sure the chance you will pass the oDesk ready test is much higher.

you're right that we should read much if we join oDesk cos there are so many rules or terms a member should know. i'm still confused today so i dont make progress at all for my oDesk account. i cant start to find a contractors or jobs cos my profile hasnt completed yet. i havent upload my photo profile, ID and bank account. i have a dream of havong success in that site cos the payment is so affordable. lol.
may i know, if you are active on oDesk, why are you still write here? i think if you had already got a project, you will be very busy. am i wrong or correct?

Hello humairaku,
I do have projects, but I also have breaks. I just check in once in a while on MyLot, but far from spending all my time here. MyLot is sort of relaxing time compared to my other jobs.
So yes I am still active on oDesk - in the matte the fact I am about to start getting the work done for today. But if you have any questions regarding oDesk, I shall attempt to answer them.

i didn`t become member of odesk..
some people in kaskus say that odesk is difficult
and for me, yes..i didn`t understand odesk
but if you believe that you can, do it..go on
don`t hear any negative comment about odesk
everyone have different capability and ability...

what people said on Kaskus is right, Adhyz that oDesk is difficult. i have joined for days but my profile hast completed yet cos i havent fulfilled what oDesk ask such as ID and bank account. some Indonesian oDwskers said that BCA is the best bank to verify oDesk account cos BCA has online mutation. the problem is i dont have BCA account, that's why my account hast verified yet (i have plan to open BCA account someday but not immediately). if our account hasnt verified we cant apply a job. im really interested in this site cos my relative
s are so successfull working there. even the dont need to have a conventional work like being employee or teacher bu they are full in oDesk. the fact they are much more better financially than people who have those 'real' jobs. i actually dont know whether my ability meet oDesk job vacancies but i will keep trying. wish me luck, will you? :)
