My unexplained experience

A few years ago I was walking along a field during the summer. It was night time but the weather was very warm and suitable for shorts and a t shirt. There was no machinery near by and little to no wind. Anyways I was walking across this field with my friend and she says come here. I walked to where she said and noticed there was a cold spot. It was very strange. It was almost like standing in front of an air conditioner without the breeze and you could literally walk in and out of it. At the time neither of were scared or freaked out by it. We just walked through it a few times and talked about how crazy it was then left. I'm not saying this was a ghost or anything however I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to what might of caused this? Supernatural or not I'm curious as to what everyone thinks. I'm a pretty level headed person and believe there is a rational explanation for most if not all things. I just can't come up with one this time.

Most information that I have come across with that has something to do with the paranormal says that cold spots are manifestation of a haunting. But then, I am no expert and I do not have any experience like that (and I don't intend to have one soon, lol!). Good thing you are not like me who gets scared so easily. If I've been in your position and a friend of mine starts something like that on me, I would have freaked out. Yep, I'm that easy to spook.

Lol, yeah looking back I'm surprised how calm I was. I guess its a good thing I don't live in a horror movie. I'd be the first curious idiot that gets their head lopped off lol. You know anyone I've ever told this story too always suggests some paranormal theory and not the weather anomaly story I'm waiting for lol.
