Going home to province....

Hi people.
Morning to all.
Just two days now and it will gonna be long weekend again.
Some are now going to their province to avoid traffic whatsoever and to be home earlier so some do take leave from their work.
I heard and found out here at work that some of my colleagues are already on leave tomorrow cause they will gonna go home to their province for Nov. 1 to 2 since it is long weekend.For sure, we will be just few here tomorrow, and even my boss is on leave also.
My mom usually are the one who will go to their province to pay respect to her mother, who died 3years ago.No plans yet if we will go with her.Usually we are in my father side during all saint's and all soul's day.
How bout you folks, are going home to your province or any other plans to do this coming long weekend?

No.. sadly.. Since i costs a lot of money for us to go to province.. We are 4 in the family. I think we are just staying here, and we will go to the graves of my mother's side..
We will just pray for the souls of the ones on my father's side..

Yeah quite cosy and expensive going home in province when you are many and the place is quite far. My mom used to go home to their province since our grandma passed away three years ago.
Quite cosy to us too since we are 8 in the family, 6 siblings and my parents. So my mom usually will go home together with some of my siblings, let see if I could join them.

For us this weekend is not a long holiday weekend, in fact the next long holiday weekend that we have here isn't until Thanksgiving, so it is about three weeks away. However, our family does have some big plans for the weekend because my cousin is going to be getting married on Saturday. We are all excited about going up to Cincinnati for his wedding and getting to see all of our family members that we don't have the opportunity to see on a regular basis.

Oh congrats to your cousin and best wishes.
Events like this are one of our chance to spend time with our family and relatives.Such event like this gathered families and relatives even friends to celebrate and spend more time with each others that we can due on regular basis especially during workdays.

my other used to have a home in the province but my family has not been there for some years now. My wife would like to go home to her province but sadly we don't see that happening this year since our work does not stop on holidays.

Thats right, there still some work that don't allow and spoiled this long weekend due to their occupations required yo be at work that time. Sad but we could pay respect to them wherever we are through prayers.

I planning too to go home this halloween break. But then, I worked in a hospital, there are no holiday break in a hospital. It sad to think on that day I a scheduled work. If anyone is going home this holiday, the road is gonna be busy. Have a nice day going home my friend.

Oh that is always the consequences or problem in working in a hospital or call center wherein they dint enjoy much of holidays. Well it always call of duty. Salute to those kind of people like you.
Yes, the road will gonna be busy by tomorrow will all the people going home to their province to spend their long weekend.

My brother's birthday falls on All Soul's day so aside from paying our respects and offering prayers to our dearly departed, we will be having some small family "party" here in my place. My parents will be coming from Manila, me and my husband have a house here somewhere in Southern Luzon and they will be staying here in our house. With all the kids out of school and my sister off from work, it's going to be one heck of a long weekend for us. Thank goodness that we don't have to travel that far to go to our province. Traffic is already terrible, not to mention the airport is swamped.

Yeah traffic would be terrible now and terminal would be so crowded.
One of my cousin's birthday do fall Nov. 1 so when we go to the cemetery we always joke her about it and telling that before we leave the cemetery she better blow the all the candles since it is her birthday.

Have a safe trip for them.
For me, have no plan yet if I will go to my mom's province but lets see what's gonna happened till tomorrow.
Just have safe trip to everyone and enjoy this long weekend.
