IPhone 5 bugs? Should I wait on upgrading?

Hi, I currently have an Iphone 4. Its kinda starting to act funny every since I heh...accidentally threw it after seeing a bug on my arm (lol dumb I know). Anyways I am due for an upgrade but some people at work were telling me there was a lot of problems with the Iphone 5. They said it was freezing, programs were crashing, and the map was sending people the wrong places. Anyways I'm tired to my phone having a mind of its own and I'd like a 4g phone but should I wait? Does anyone have an Iphone 5? Are you experiencing these problems? Has anyone heard of these issues? I love my Iphone its so easy to use and I like how it works with my itunes account so I'd like to stick with the brand.
