I think that love means something different to everybody, so the most important thing that you can do is to make sure that you're thinking about what it means to you rather than what it means to other people. One of the things that I like about love is the fact that it means that I am able to feel as though I am safe with somebody. I like to know that I am able to trust them fully as this means that I can relax in the knowledge that they are going to be loyal to me and not do anything that would harm me in any way.

Well we can't deny that attraction and feeling is a precursor to love. We can't really begin to love someone if we don't find any attractive quality in them. But attraction and feeling itself is not love, it goes beyond that. Love is a choice and a decision and some people fail at loving because they are lazy and don't work at the relationship once they get bored with it.
