Most people in this whole wide world are observing many "Holidays" even though they are not listed neither mention nor commanded in the Bible. While all along there are these "Holy Days" or "Feasts" of God written in Leviticus 23, Numbers 28 & 29 and Deuteronomy 16 left unnoticed. Which is rather good, God's Holy Days, or World's Holidays?

God's Holy Days are also equal to the Laws of God because it was created to celebrate the glorious Days of God so was His efforts to tell the human race He was the Only One God and no other was to be worship except Him alone.The Holidays of the whole wide world are just created due to the different changes in the happenings of the current days with the commemoration of certain persons and affairs with essential impact to the current times.

Hi berting600 greetings. My appreciation for your interesting comment. You are right. God's Holy Days are also equal to the laws of God. No wonder they are commanded assemblies or holy convocations (Lev. 23:4, "These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their seasons").
Someday, all people of this earth will begin to realized their importance and will observe them (specifically the Feast of Tabernacles) as it is written;
Zechariah 14:16-19, "And it shall com to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem, shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of Host, and to KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES.
v-17, "And it shall be, that whosoever will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the KIng, the Lord of Host, even upon them shall be no rain;
v-18, "And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain, there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES;
v-19, "This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES".
God's purpose shall stand.

Your response is quiet flattering and I really take note that God made us know He was the Only and One God.I know He likes us to only believe in Him because he was the One Who gives us our life.He was the One Who provides our food,as to our daily
needs whether this was for the continuance of our existence as a living thing in this planet,or it could be the fulfillment of His wants to make us understood His being the Only God by giving us the food for the understanding of His divine Entity.

Thanks for the response and the attached question jdalaqui. First, Holy days or Feasts of God are commanded assemblies or holy convocations. Second, they have been observed by the Israelites from the time of Moses, Observed by the Lord Jesus Christ and his disciples and to be observed in the future by all people. Third, the Holy days or Feasts reveals the great master plan of salvation of God for all humanity.

We celebrate Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. I know that these are considered world holidays but we celebrate their meaning, not just the days themselves. My kids know the importance of these holidays because they know Jesus, we also use them to see family and friends. We observe these holidays because we observe who made them important.

I think if more of the Christians, or just the good people in the world, understood why the festivals or the 'holy' holidays were started, they may not be as excited to observe those days. Halloween and Christmas are just two examples of holidays that are celebrated by millions who do not know what they are really celebrating. Halloween is seen as a time for children to go out and get a lot of free candy. We all like freebies....but I would not want the 'strings' aka 'spirits' that are attached to those freebies. The symbols that are associated with Halloween have a meaning: the carved and lit pumpkins, the masking and costuming, etc. Christmas has become so commercialized, it is hard to recognize it from its inception several hundred years ago.

Hi hoseasmate greetings. My sincere appreciation of your comment.
I just want to point out the difference of what is written in the Bible in comparison with the customs or traditions of this world. Also, the very words of the Lord Jesus in saying, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God" (Mt. 4:4, Luke 4:4, cf. Jer. 10:2-3).
But I have a high regards and respect for everyone's beliefs.
