Some people look for love online. Chat rooms, online dating websites, forums and create a world for them as if the world never existed.
Other people enjoy this type of game, I call this a game though people call this looking for true love. I don't agree in looking for the right person online but few people we're able to succeed in this game. But mostly, they meet people who are not their type when they meet in person. Whenever they meet somebody online, they talk about having a relationship quickly, I don't know why. Dating for me means, start with friendship and know more about me. Getting to know you have been forgotten since online dating came alive. They forget about the real life, the real world out there.
What if your relationship was not successful? You have to look foe a new one in that site. you might bump that same person again in the future or might accidentally open your failed Mr. right account.
I don't know what's wrong with online dating, but personally, me and my husband met through a certain clan, a group of texters. We became friends for a year and we we're able to know each other for sometime. Time came, he told me that he's going to work abroad and I thought that would be the end of our friendship. A month before he left, we started dating as sweethearts. And after a year he came back and we got married. My experience is like dating online, I dated a lot of guys in our clan and was able to find MR. RIGHT.

No I am not and I never was. I did meet people on the internet but for some reason the friendships don't last "forever". Mostly because most men want something else as I even they know from the very first start I am not interested in a relationship. I think it's possible to meet the right partner online, just like it is in real life. It even should be easier since you meet way more people plus you can be honest about your likes/dislikes from the very first start. If you have nothing in common you can break the contact after 1 or 2 chats already. How come so many people tell lies on the internet beats me.

We had a lot of lies on our profiles when I met this guy online. At first it was very easy to talk about evrything, but when we started dating. I found out that everything on his profile was a total lie. I also lied about my age to qualify and a few things about me on my page is also a lie. When we met personally, we only talked about ourselves about the things we do and about our family. We see each other almost everyday and it stated with a kiss the next morning he's already my boyfriend. Wow, I thought I would make a lot of mess and would only hurt myself. After 2 years, we got married.

In this modern days online dating are quite common, lot of youngsters are interested in online dating to find their real partners. Some persons using online dating for fun whereas some persons are sincere with their dating partner and wish to marry them. It is all based on the individual person and their interest. However girls must be very careful with online dating and careful while going dating with unknown strangers. Most of the young girls are involving in online dating for fun and enjoyment, some times it may give some unwanted issues in their life.
Online dating sites are quite common now. Day by day a new dating site is available in this virtual world and youngsters are interested in joining with them. Even aged persons also interested in dating and enroll them with dating site to find their dating partners. Very few persons find their soul mate and real partner using the dating sites. Most of the people using dating sites for fun purpose and some persons have issues with their online dating experiences.
It is really very hard to find a real and sincere person and a real love with this kind of dating sites. We can easily find the flirting and lust using this kind of sites. Sensitive persons must avoid online dating. If their partner is not a real one and they are flirting and playing in the name of love, strict and sensitive persons don't have the ability to tolerate the cheating and betraying activities. Better to avoid online dating and flirting activities for the person whoever searching for real love and serious dating in online. Very few and rare cases will help us to find the real love in online.
We must be lucky enough to find our soul mate using the online sites. There is nothing wrong with online dating. But strict and serious members must have endurance to tolerate all kind of results with online dating.

I met my husband in this kind of game. I call it a game because he met other women after me and they we're all bugging me when they found out about our relationship. But we we're able to get rid all of them out of our lives and started to think about our future. It was really hard to adjust at first, we found out that we lied to each other by fakinf some of the informations in our profiles online. We got married last February 14,2008 and we had a baby boy.

Hi,
Just like online shopping, I have my reservations when it comes to online relationship. Some stories tell of goods not on the exact specs, goods not delivered or misdirected. Dealing with humans online also has a lot of drawbacks for some don't seem to be the real person as they are if seen personally. Some do reveal themselves honestly but the majority seem to take the cyberworld like some underworld where they can play out their perverted whims and desires. I can't deal with such kinds, for now.

Would you consider yourself with this kind of relationship with someone in the future? I never thought of having this kind of experience, it't really hard to nw a person through internet, you will never know if they are telling the truth. When I met my husband, we we're very comfortable, I was very young went I met him, I don't even know his age then. I have to lie about my age to join and I never thought that he would lie about his age too. But we decided to start with our new relationship even though we lied so much about each other. After two years we decided to tie the knot and start a family. We are now msrried for five years with a son.

I don't do online dating, because:
1) I'm scared as hell because everyone can say anything about themselves, and there could be perverted people or robbers behind the names
2) When I'm dating, I really need physical feedback... I like to know whether they really laugh at my jokes, or they just put a smiley on the end of the sentence because they wanna be polite.
But I'm really happy for those who date online, take it seriously and end up with a proper and loving partner for their lives, because we're all different... it would be weird for me to date online, but other people might find it the best option... and nothing is better than finding mr./mrs. right :).

Well, there are different ways on finding love not just online, right? you will never know, your best friend might be the Mr. Right you're looking for. Me and my husband we're able to be successful in this kind of relationship and we already had a child who is now five years old. We've been together, for 6 years now.

Yes, there are a lot of things going on these days. But there are people who succeeded in this type of relationship like me and my loving hubby. We have been together for six years now and we have a five year old boy.

Hello ellyse,
No, i don't do on-line dating because I'm married :D .
But i hadn't did any on=line dating before because of the reasons:
.There might be sick people or robbers behind your "date".
.You don't always know who you are dating with.
.When you would met, you don't feel comfortable at all, more like awkard.
.Because i love natural way of meeting people :)

Thanks for the reply. I am married now with the person I met in our clan group. We dated for almost two years before we decided to get married. Well, natural way is one good way, me and my husband we're able to do a natural way of dating too after talking for a few months on that group we went out and stopped looking anywhere else, and we we're able to get to know each other more.
