All souls day again, a time to remember our departed love one's. three years ago never came into my mind that my father will be gone in an instance. That day he was stabbed I was with him, When I had to leave for work in the nearby town, I never thought that day would be the last day I am gonna see him, strong, smiling and excited. That night when I am in the middle of my sleep, I heard a fast knock on my door, When i opened it Isaw my brother and cousin bloods on their bodies, I was speechless, nervous I ask him what happend and he only says that our father was stabbed and his in danger, the hospital was 5 mins away from myplace. I saw my father in pain, my other brother and my uncle was also stabbed that day.
I thought he already survived after 7 days in the hospital, he came out, after 5 days rest at home we returned him to the hospital and after 7 days he died. 4 days before my birthday. But you know what is most painful? Because of the blood loss my father can no longer remember us, hes just saying, and talking, he remembered his childhood. I was crying then because the doctor already said that he has 42 hours to live. I sit beside him and hold his hand. He look at me and said, Ate its your birthday? then he sings me happy birthday and a tear fell on his eye. I saw in his eyes that he is sorry for his gift to me is his death. He already know that day that he will die.
Where ever you are you will be always in my heart.

It is such a shame that you had to lose your Father, and I agree that it is one of those things that none of us ever think that we will have to go through. It is one thing when our parents die of old age, but when things like this happen it comes as such a shock and there is nothing that we can do about it. The best thing that you can do is to make sure that you have lots of happy memories about your Father and that you spend time thinking about the things that you enjoyed doing together. This should help for you to cheer up and remember the good times.
