I was using a scrubby pad to clean the bathtub out and my cat loves to watch me clean so I had to run to answer the phone after I had rinsed the bathtub out and when I hung the phone up went back to the bathroom and there he was yes Mr. Kitty carrying the scrubby pad to his litter box and put in in the box and looked at me like okay now it is my turn! he he he

What a great story! Your cat really does sound human! Sometimes one or more of my four cats will "help" me with cleaning or with another project, but usually they just stick their noses into whatever I am doing (or sometimes sit down on top of something I am working on). But they never actually try and participate, especially to the extent that your Kitty did! So, did you clean out the litter box next? LOL

Yes, cats are really curious. . .and love to go where they shouldn't be. The minute I close a door in our house, that's the room they want to go into.

Yes it is true and I did clean his box very well took it outside and washed it out with soap and water dried it and put brand new cat litter in it while he watched me though the door. l.m.a.o.

He must be cute doing that , I like the curiosity of cats . When I was living with my mother , my cat was so cute always where I am . He always watch me and learn what I do .

Cats are very smart creatures--sometimes, too smart for our good.
Middle cat told me earlier when her daddy got back. She heard the car before I did and was staring at the door, alerting me to the fact that he had returned. She is the same cat who complains whenever I sneeze anywhere near her.

Thats so cute and im probably going to htink you looked at hime with man i wish you could really scrub it for me so i didnt have to do this all the time LOL. I wishi could get some help cleaning to from my dog it would be great if he could at least put his toys away LOL. I just dont see that happening ever. Of course they look at you all inocent and stuff and your like man your so cute but i wish you could seriously help me clean.

That is a cat for you. They have spent time watching what you have done and I sometimes feel they would like to help - surely this was the way of your cat giving you a hint that his special area needed the same spit 'n' polish.

Its funny how pets pick up on things we do. My dog knows when its time to go to bed at night. As soon as I turn tv off, she heads for bedroom.
